Audience capture

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Audience capture is the phenomenon where an influencer is affected by his audience, catering to them what he believes they want to hear. This creates a positive feedback loop, which can lead the influencer towards more extreme views and behaviors.

The term was coined by Eric Weinstein in 2018.[1]
