Biography

[edit]

Together with his wife, Martine Hadida, they have four children: Michaël, David, the current CEO of Tranoï, Meryl, director of Leclaireur [fr] in Los Angeles, and Wendy.[3]

In 2011, he inaugurated the Royal Eclaireur in a suite at the Royal Monceau with Philippe Starck. In July 2011, he was appointed or promoted within the Order of Arts and Letters by the Minister of Culture and Communication.[4]

In June 2012, he proposed a fashion show to Pierre Cardin as part of Tranoï. His favorite book is Belle du Seigneur by Albert Cohen.[5]

In May 2014, he launched the first L'Éclaireur clothing line and opened a space at the Puces de Saint-Ouen. He observed a significant increase in metrosexual demand in his sector, as well as a 20% rise in communication through the blogosphere, which led him to sell their furniture following the sale of their space to J. Crew, and he invited the sculptor Jin'An. In 2015, he focused on "street luxury."[6]
