Ankur Warikoo (born 25 August 1980) is an Indian entrepreneur, YouTube content creator and writer. He is currently the founder of WebVeda[1]

Early life and education

Ankur Warikoo was born on 25 August 1980 in New Delhi to Kashmiri Pandit parents from Srinagar.[2] Warikoo received a bachelor's degree in physics from Hindu College, Delhi and completed his schooling from Don Bosco School (Alaknanda, New Delhi). He did MBA from Indian School of Business. He enrolled for a PhD in astrophysics to become a space scientist and then later dropped out of Michigan State University.[3][4]

Career

Warikoo started his career in 2008 by co-founding his first startup, Exancium Web, which ran websites like Gaadi.com and Secondshaadi.com.[5] In 2011, he became the CEO of Groupon India.[6] In 2015, he became the CEO of Nearbuy.com. In 2019, he resigned from Nearbuy.com.[7] In 2021, he released his first book 'Do Epic Shit'.[8][9][10] And in 2022 he published his second book, 'Get Epic Cold Done'.[11][12]
