Ankerside Shopping Centre is a shopping center in Tamworth, Staffordshire. It is located beside the River Anker.[1] It is owned by the Irish firm Martin Property Group.[2]
History
[edit]The shopping centre was opened by Elizabeth II on 6 June 1980.[3]
In 2021, a local artist was commissioned to create a Saxon themed mural on the wall of the Ankerside multi-storey car park.[4]
