Andrew Lucky Elerewe, better known as Andrew Elerewe, (born September 29, 1977) is a Nigerian real estate entrepreneur and the founder of AIBEN Investment and Properties Limited.[1][2][3][4] He was awarded Young entrepreneur of the year by Nigeria Union of Journalists,[5] Recognition of Excellence in Construction by Nigerian Society of Engineers and received the Leads Africa Merit Award of Excellence from the League of African Development Students (LEADS Africa).[6][7][8]

Early life

Elerewe was born in Ose, Ondo State, Nigeria. He attended Obafemi Awolowo University, Nigeria, and thereafter proceeded to the University of Chichester, UK for his MBA (Masters in Business Administration).[9][10]

Career

Elerewe is the chairman/ chief executive officer (CEO) of AIBEN Investment & Properties Limited, the first contemporary Nigerian construction company with branches in over six African countries.[11][12][13]

He served as the MD of Woods and Bricks Ltd, before establishing AIBEN group in 2011.[14][1]

He was the immediate past Chairman of the Real Estate Developers Association of Nigeria (REDAN) and is the association's current national vice-president of the North Central Zone.[15][16][17]

In 2021, he was recognised amongst the top five real estate major players in Nigeria.[8]

He is a fellow, Chartered Institute of Project Managers, Fellow, Chartered Institute of Management Consultants, Fellow Project Management Institute, Fellow Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (FCIPD), Member National Association of Home Builders, Member, Chartered Institute of Housing, UK, Member, Board of Trustees, National Asphalt Pavement Association and board member, Gymnastics Federation of Nigeria.[7][6][2][4]

Honorary Doctorate Award by London Graduate School, Award of Leadership and Excellence by Chartered Institute for Personnel Management, Leads Africa Merit Award of Excellence by The League of African Development Students, Young Entrepreneur of the Year by Nigeria Union of Journalists,[18] Recognition of Excellence in Construction by the Nigerian Society of Engineers.[7][6]
