Andrè Faye Solvang

Andrè Faye Solvang is a Norwegian powerboat racer and was born in Drammen in 2003.

Early racing career

He started racing in GT15 in 2017 and won his first championship in that class a year later.[1] In 2019 he won the UIM GT30 World Championship in Kotka, Finland.[2]

Signing for the Sharjah Team

Solvang raced for his own team until the end of the 2023 season. Early 2024, he signed with the prestigious Formula 1 powerboat team, Team Sharjah, and began racing under their banner in the F4 series in 2024.[3]

A second UIM world championship win

Solvang secured his second Union Internationale Motonautique world championship win and his first for the Sharjah Team after winning the 2024 UIM F4 World Championship.[4]

In the same season the Norwegian also won the UIM F4 European Championship.[5]
