Ana Orsini (1996 – 17 December 2024) was an American journalist.

Biography

Orsini was born and raised in Denver, Colorado and attended the University of Arizona.[1] In 2018, she graduated from Texas A&M with a degree in journalism and a double minor in communication and sports management.[1]

She began her career in 2018 where she worked as a reporter in Lubbock, Texas.[2] Orsini spent three years as a news anchor in Medford, Oregon.[3] From 2023 onwards, Orsini was a co-anchor at the CBS affiliate KOLD-TV based in Tucson, Arizona.[4] She was an advocate for women's rights and animal rights.[5] As a reporter she had particular focus on rescue animals.[1]

In December 2024, Orsini died unexpectedly from a brain aneurism.[6] She was 28 years old.[7] Her CBS colleagues announced her death live on air.[8]
