Amady Camara (born 28 May 2005) is a Malian professional footballer who plays as a striker for Austrian Bundesliga club SK Sturm Graz and the Mali national team.
Club career
[edit]Camara was born in Mali, in the capital city of Bamako. He began playing football for FC Diarra until he was 17, when he joined Austrian Bundesliga club SK Sturm Graz. He began playing for the reserve team, making his debut for the team in the second tier, in a game against SKN St. Pölten, coming on as a substitute in a 4–1 loss.[3] He scored his first professional goal in a 2–2 draw against Floridsdorfer AC, scoring an 83rd-minute equaliser.[4] During that season, Camara scored 6 goals in 13 games, including a brace against SV Lafnitz in a 5–2 loss.[5]
Camara made 17 appearances for the first team that season, scoring one goal against Austria Klagenfurt.[6]
International career
[edit]Camara made his debut for the Mali national team on 6 September 2024 in a Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Mozambique at the Stade du 26 Mars.[7]
