Alexis Adelin Beka Beka (born 29 March 2001) is a French professional footballer who last played as a defensive midfielder for Ligue 1 club Nice.
Club career

[edit]Beka Beka made his debut with Caen in a 0–0 Ligue 2 tie with Clermont on 20 December 2019.[3] He signed his first professional contract with the club on 9 June 2020.[4]
Lokomotiv Moscow
[edit]On 23 August 2021, Beka Beka signed a five-year contract with Russian Premier League club Lokomotiv Moscow.[5]
Nice
[edit]On 1 August 2022, Beka Beka signed for Ligue 1 club OGC Nice on a five-year deal, for a reported fee of €14 million.[6][7]
His contract with the club was terminated on 16 August 2024.[8]
International career
[edit]Beka Beka is a youth international for France.[9] He was part of the France Olympic team that competed at the 2020 Summer Olympics.[citation needed]

[edit]Born in France, Beka Beka holds French and Congolese nationalities.[10][11]
On 29 September 2023, Beka Beka made headlines for threatening to commit suicide by jumping from the Magnan viaduct in Nice. Negotiations with a club psychologist were ongoing while emergency services, firemen, and the military were involved in the operation. The viaduct is approximately 100 meters high, causing traffic disruptions on the A8 autoroute.[12] Beka Beka was safely removed from the scene by emergency services.[13]
