Alex Malycke (born October 9, 1984) is an American professional stock car racing driver who competes part-time in the ARCA Menards Series West, driving the No. 21 Toyota for Nascimento Motorsports.
Racing career
[edit]Malycke has previously competed in the Lucas Oil Modified Series.[1]
In 2016, Malycke made his debut in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West at All American Speedway, driving the No. 08 Toyota for Kevin McCarty, where started in 21st and finished in nineteenth due to transmission issues.
In 2024, Malycke was originally scheduled to make his ARCA Menards Series East debut at Flat Rock Speedway driving a car he leased from Roger Carter, but Carter did not show up to the track and it was found out that Carter originally purchased the car from Brandon McKenzie with or without the latter's permission, which prompted an investigation from the Loudoun County (VA) Sheriff's Office, which resulted in Carter getting arrested in July of that year, and the racecar being rediscovered and given back to the McKenzie's two months after.[2][3]
In November of that year, it was revealed that Malycke will return to the now ARCA Menards Series West at Phoenix Raceway, driving the No. 21 Toyota for Nascimento Motorsports.[4][5]
