Ahmer Haider is an Indian actor, film producer, and director known for his roles in Hindi films such as Am I Next, Bioscopewala, Country of Blind, and the television series Zindagi Ki Mehek.

Early Life and Education[edit]

Haider was born and raised in Kashmir. He graduated from the Technology and the Institution of Engineers (India).[1][2]

Career[edit]

Haider's professional journey began as a sales engineer at Bharat Steels, where he discovered his passion for service sales. Eventually, he transitioned into the entertainment industry, making his acting debut in a cameo role as a Pakistani police officer in the film Bioscopewala.[3][4]

He made a guest appearance as a doctor in the television series Zindagi Ki Mehek, which premiered on August 15, 2018, on Zee TV.

In the film Am I Next, Haider portrayed the role of Dr. Rahul. This film was directed by Rahat Kazmi and released in 2023.[5]

Haider played the role of Vishwa in the film Country of Blind, which was directed by Rahat Kazmi and released in India in 2024.[6] The film also features Hina Khan, who has previously collaborated with Rahat Kazmi.[2][6]

He also portrayed Dr. Adeel in the film Bed No 17, which is currently streaming on Hungama Digital Media Entertainment. The film, featuring Hina Khan and Farida Jalal, was released on October 18, 2023.
