Beast Quest is a best-selling British series of children's fantasy–adventure novels produced by Working Partners Ltd and written by several authors all using the house name Adam Blade. As of October 2024, the main series had achieved a total of 154 books published, and over 20 million copies of the books have been sold altogether since March 2007.

An editorial team at Working Partners first creates the storyline for each book and "then approaches a number of writers whose experience and style we think might suit the project and ask them to write a sample – usually the first three chapters of the book". The editorial team picks the sample with the voice that we think works best for the project."

The series is published by Orchard Books in the UK and by Scholastic Corporation in the US and is aimed largely at boys and girls aged 7 and over. The novels have been described as "clearly and simply written, [striking] the right balance between adventure and story telling" and a "great series to get kiddies, who normally wouldn't be, interested in reading." The books take place in a world called Avantia, and focus on a young boy named Tom and his friend Elenna as they attempt to restore peace to the land by stopping beasts from causing destruction. Kathryn Flett, writing in London's The Observer, has called the books "almost certainly a work of publishing (if not quite literary) genius...Narnia meets Pokémon via Potter." The books are among the most-borrowed from UK lending libraries.

There is also a companion science fiction series called Sea Quest. From 2021 to 2023, Adam Blade also created a short spin-off series called Space Wars, consisting of only four books. There is also a 2015 mobile video game based on the Beast Quest book series, and a 2018 version for Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PS4 (Maximum Games). A new mobile version was released in May 2020 by Animoca.

Characters

• Tom is the main protagonist of the Beast Quest series. Tom is a boy who lived in Errinel in the kingdom of Avantia and the son of Taladon, but when strange things occur in the kingdom, he enters the Palace of King Hugo. He meets Aduro the wizard and was given a sword and shield. He has a noble steed named Storm, he meets Elenna and her wolf friend named Silver. He begins his first quest to free the six good Beasts of Avantia who are cursed by Malvel. While there's blood in his veins, it does not matter how dangerous it would be, Tom will continue his quests. Tom is the bravest boy in Avantia.
• Elenna is a girl who is Tom's best friend. When her parents are killed in the fire ever since she was young, she lives on and befriends with a wolf named Silver and nearly lives in the middle of the Forest of Fear, but she lives with Uncle Leo. She meets Tom on his first quest and become friends and partners. Armed with a trusty bow and arrows, Elenna is brave with Tom on her side in the quests.
• Storm is a black horse who is Tom's steed. He was born in one of King Hugo's stables, at first, he was nervous and jumpy, but he grows up to be noble and brave. Tom tames Storm respectfully and rides on him and goes to long distances.
• Silver is a white wolf who Elenna befriends after she lost her parents when she was young. She keeps him as a pet and rides on him. Before the quest begins, Elenna tamed Silver to be her companion. Silver will help protect Elenna by her side.
• Aduro is the wise and good Wizard. He has light magical powers. He meets Tom before his first quest to free the Good Beasts of Avantia and gives him a sword and shield. He uses his powerful magic staff to battle enemies He also helps Tom and Elenna gain powers.
• Malvel is the wicked dark wizard and the arch enemy of Aduro. He has evil dark magic to conquer and uses enchanted items with dark magic to curse the Good Beasts of Avantia. Tom began his first quest, and the Beasts were freed by Tom from the enchanted items.
• King Hugo is the ruler of Avantia, he lives in harmony with the people of the kingdom. Many of his brave knights like Calador have attempted to free the good Beasts of Avantia, but they never survived. Tom meets King Hugo in his palace before his first quest begins. He and Aduro gave him a sword, a shield and a compass, Tom freed the Beasts of Avantia and save the kingdom.
• Taladon is the father of Tom, a brave warrior and the Legendary Master of the Beasts. Ever since he disappeared, Aunt Maria and Uncle Henry took care of Tom. He returns as a ghost and Tom saves him by retrieving the pieces of the Amulet of Avantia guarded by the Ghost Beasts in order to make him back to normal. He meets reunites Freya with his son Tom. He wears a suit of Golden Armour. He also helps Tom and Elenna embark the Beast Quests. The Golden Armour has moved on to Tom, a new Master of the Beasts.
• Freya is the mother of Tom. This mysterious woman is a brave warrior and Mistress of the Beasts. She wears silver armour. She meets Tom and reunites with Taladon, Tom's father. She helps Tom and Elenna travel the Beast Quests.
• Aunt Maria and Uncle Henry are the aunt and uncle of Tom. Since Taladon disappeared, Tom lives with his aunt and uncle who took good care of him. While Tom journeys to his Beast Quests, Aunt Maria has offerings of her delicious cherry pie and Uncle Henry is a blacksmith to create varieties of different weapons and materials.
• Velmal is the evil Wizard in Gwildor. He uses his dark magic to conquer the kingdom and brainwashing. He wields a staff tipped with two curved blades. He can create portals to other realms.
• Petra is a young witch girl who is the companion of Malvel. She uses her magic to control Beasts and for battling. She was redeemed and later a friend of Tom and Elenna and the companion of Aduro.
• Uncle Leo is another uncle. He took care of Elenna after her parents are killed when she was young. While Tom and Elenna embark their Beast Quests, he goes fishing with his pole and hooks, working in the coast village next in the ocean, to catch meals for passengers.
• Sanpao is the Pirate King. He leads an army of pirates. He once controls Beasts using magic from the Tree of Being. He later joins and combines forces and powers with Kensa.
• Kapra is a witch sorceress. She can use dark magic and controls powers the Beasts of Avantia to conjure Raksha.
• Daltec is a young wizard boy and Aduro's companion. Daltec is a young wizard, he uses his good magic for helping, levitating, making different potions, creating portals to distances and realms and battling enemies. He also wields a staff with magic powers. He goes helping with Tom and Elenna to quests and battling Beasts.
• Kensa is the wicked sorceress. She was banished by the Circle of Wizards and plans to conquer kingdoms. She creates monstrous Beasts to do her bidding. She later joins forces and combines powers with Sanpao the Pirate King.
• Jezrin is the Dark Wizard who is the judge, and was once a former member of the Circle of Wizards. He combines forces and powers with Sanpao the Pirate King and Kensa the wicked Sorceress using dark magic to conquer the kingdoms.
• Emperor Jeng is the cruel ruler of Gwildor. He has despicable magic to conquer. He leads an army of knights at his command. He joins forces with Sanpao and Kensa to conquer.
• Berric is the evil wizard. He can use his dark magic to attack and control. He can levitate in the airs. He attempts to unleash Malvel in the Isle of Ghosts to work for him.

Beasts

Beasts are hugely mythical and powerful entities found throughout the known realms. The Beasts come in different shapes and sizes. Many Beasts are natural, most Beasts are ancient and some Beasts are creations of powerful magic users and several Beasts are young.

• Ferno the Fire Dragon is a giant Dragon. He lurks in the caves in the south near Avantia's Winding River. From his mouth, Ferno breathes fire as hot as volcanic lava. His sharp teeth can crush boulders. He has huge, purple leathery wings. The thick blue scales that cover his body cannot be pierced by a sword or any other weapon. Ferno is so enormous, he has been mistaken for one of the mountains. The Fire Dragon patrols the river and makes sure that the southern towns of the kingdom are never flooded. Should the waters rise, he can use is clawed feet to build protective dams. Their sudden appearances confuse the locals, but they are very grateful for them! Ferno gave Tom a magic Dragon scale for his shield to protect him from blazing.
• Sepron the Sea Serpent is a Serpent guarding the Western Ocean, keeping Avantia's fishing boats safe from storms and patrolling the depths right down to the sea bed. Sepron has sharp teeth to attack. His eyes are pale and his long body is covered in green scales that glimmer with every color of the rainbow when the sun hits them. Sepron can use his tail to create tidal waves. Sepron gave Tom his tooth to protect him from waves and strong currants.
• Arcta the Mountain Giant is the last Cyclops of the Northern Mountains. These Beasts once dwelt at the top of the highest peaks and protected the other mountain creatures. Like all other Cyclopes, Arcta has only one eye. He is a strongest Beast with his strength. He is as tall as the pine forests that grew across the mountain slopes, with sharp claws that can tear chunks of rock. Arcta gave Tom a magic eagle feather which protects him and allows him to float in the air.
• Tagus the Horse-Man is a half man, half horse Centaur who patrols the Central Plains of Avantia, guarding cattle from hyenas and wolves. He has the torso of a man, but has the body of a powerful stallion. Though small compared to the other Good Beasts of Avantia, he towers over normal men and can gallop faster than any other horse. Tagus masterfully wields a powerful sword in combat. Tagus gave Tom a piece of an enchanted horseshoe which gives him speed.
• Nanook the Snow Monster is a large Yeti who is one of Avantia's Good Beasts. Nanook has shaggy white fur that keeps her warm in the Icy Plains. She has piercing eyes and sharp, curved claws. The pounding of her massive feet can crack ice. Though this loyal Beast does her best to protect this part of the kingdom. Nanook's enchanted bell forms part of Tom's shield and protects him from the colds.
• Epos the Flame Bird is a Phoenix who is one of the oldest Beasts in Avantia. She fears no injury or attack, because she can heal herself with powerful fiery magic. Nobody knows exactly how many times Epos has been reborn in the molten depths of the Stonewin Volcano, but while she guards it, the kingdom is safe from disaster! The Flame Bird has red and orange feathers, big sparkling wings engulfed in hot flames, sharp talons and can create hot blasts from her talons. One of Tom's treasures of his shield is the magic healing talon given to him by Epos.
• Zepha the Monster Squid is a giant green squid. He has eight long, powerful tentacles that he can use to catch prey and churn the waters of the Western Ocean, creating whirlpools and even changing the directions of the currants. He has a sharp beak in the middle of his body. Zepha can blind his victims with his squid ink. Tom and Elenna were able to defeat the Beast.
• Claw the Giant Monkey Claw is a huge monkey who roams Avantia's Dark Jungle, a place were few dare to venture. He has brown shaggy fur on his body. His chest is as wide and long. He can climb through the trees in the jungle. Claw has large arms thicker than most trees with large, clawed hands, but his deadliest weapon is his long tail which ends in an extra claw.
• Soltra the Stone Charmer is a female Cyclops-witch hybrid. She stalks the misty marshes near Tom's village of Erinnel. Her face glows sparkly milk-white like the full moon. She wears a purple cloak. She appears beautiful and draws people nearer with magic charms, but her glowing single eye can turn them to stone if they stare so too long. Soltra wields a long whip covered with spikes as a weapon.
• Vipero the Snake Man is a part man part snake, like a Naga. He has two vicious snake heads each with sharp fangs that contain venom. His hands are tipped with hooked claws. Most interesting, he has a human torso in the middle of his long, green body. Vipero can use his tail to reach for and grab his opponents.
• Arachnid the King of Spiders is a massive spider who lurks in the caves of Spinderel in southern Avantia. He can catch full-grown men in his webs and consuming them. His sharp fangs have deadly poison to paralyze his prey. He has six red eyes that can glow in the dark. Arachnid has eight spiky legs to attack and his sturdy, round abdomen glows blue.
• Trillion the Three-Headed Lion is a large lion with three heads. He has one tail for balance when jumping and running. His three brains plan attack. He can shatter bones with his ninety sharp teeth. Trillion is armed with four paws for movement and fighting with brown sharp claws that can slice through rocks. This Beast is a mighty opponent.
• Torgor the Minotaur is a half man, half bull Beast. He has thick glistening coat of coal-black hair to hide in the night. He has two curved golden horns jutting on his head which are the key to his strength. He is strong with his powers. His horns can smash through anything. Torgor wields an axe in battle. Tom now wears Torgor's belt with six jewels, each of them with magic powers.
• Skor the Winged Stallion is a large horse with huge feathery bird wings. He can tear chunks of human flesh with his long, yellowish teeth, dripping with acidic saliva. He can fly in the air with his huge eagle wings. His eyes glow with silver sparks. He has golden hooves, a green mane and golden sparkly light scatter his wingtips. Skor is a fearsome Beast both on land and in air.
• Narga the Sea Monster is a giant multi-headed Hydra. He has sharp teeth to swallow prey. His heads have blue crystals. He has many eyes glowing with fury. He has slimy, scaly skin on his body, glowing with yellow and orange. He has a stench that can make victims pass out in a dead faint. Narga can swim speed in the ocean with his sturdy body.
• Kaymon the Gorgon Hound is a massive dog who lurks in the ruins of the ancient castle of Gorgonia. She can split herself for multiple deadly attacks. Her large jaws have terrible, sharp teeth to swallow children whole. She can crush bones of even the strongest warrior with her huge paws with curved claws. Kaymon can search enemies in the castle and held Nanook captive.
• Tusk the Mighty Mammoth is a huge mammoth. She has a brown shaggy hide covering a body taller than the tallest trees of the forest. She can use her long trunk to ripple out and crush her victims. Her two large, sharp golden-yellow tusks drip with poison, racing through people's body. She can smash through trees with her tusks and strong strength. Tusk uses her big feet to crush enemies.
• Sting the Scorpion Man is a part man, part scorpion Centaur who used to be Seth. He has big sharp pincers for his hands can crush stone. His torso has an armoured exoskeleton that can withstand arrows. He sees in the darkness with his glowing eyes. Sting attacks opponents with his clawed feet and has a long tail ending in a barbed stinger.
• Nixa the Death-Bringer is a shape-shifter. She lurks in the deep, underground caves of the Dead Valley where she lures the nomads. She has six glowing eyes to see in the darkness. She can deafen her victims with her shriek. Her long multiple slimy tentacles can catch people. Nixa can disguise herself as any human. Nixa may be terrifying, but she does have a weakness, she cannot bare to look at her own hideous true form.
• Equinus the Spirit Horse is a ghostly Centaur. He has skeletal face which is a mask of hatred and evil, frightening wildlife. He has muscled arms with golden gauntlets with red runes and nasty, clawed hands. His hooves can trample enemies to dust. He can steal lifeforce from any creature and people. His black, pulsing heart can be seen in his chest. Equinus can split himself into a giant and a horse.
• Rashouk the Cave Troll is a muscular Troll who lurks in the caves of the Dead Peaks, one of the most terrifying parts of the Forbidden Land. He is five times as wide as a man and his huge muscled body makes him dangerous. His glowing red eyes allow him to see in the darkness. He smells his victims fear. Rashouk has sharp, poisonous claws that can turn people to stone with a single scratch. He does have one weakness, Tom can lure him into the open to exploit the Beast's fear of bright light, sunshine, fire and lightning used as weapons against Rashouk.
• Luna the Moon Wolf is a huge white wolf lurking in the Dark Wood. She can tear holes in any armour with her sharp teeth. She has hooked claws as sharp as the deadliest blades that can slash enemies. Her howl can track and deafen her prey. She has cubs as vicious as her mother. Luna has the power to exert control over animals of the forest.
• Blaze the Ice Dragon is a Japanese Dragon. He can breath icy winds from his jaws, although most Dragons breath fires. His icy breath is capable of freezing everything in his path like animals, water plants and even humans, nothing can escape. His sharp teeth and hooked claws make him vicious. He has red scales covering his long body. Blaze can also fly, despite lacking wings.
• Stealth the Ghost Panther is a black giant panther with three tails. He can snatch up prey with his lasso-like tails and toss them in his mouth like food. He has deadly, sharp teeth to bite and consume enemies. He has a golden collar. His eyes can see in the dark nights. Stealth has huge, curved blue claws which are capable of scratching his victims and turn them evil. Tom had to retrieve the six pieces of the Amulet of Avantia to save his father Taladon.
• Krabb Master of the Sea is a massive crab as his name suggests, who dwells in the ocean to the east of Gwildor. He has two big sharp pincers on his hands that he can use to slice through boats and eight stabbing legs to attack. He has a wide body covered in a huge golden-yellow shell bristling with multiple bony spikes. His two large, curved yellow tusks make him a mighty guardian. His armoured underbelly provides a home for many barnacles and sea anemones cluster along his spiny back. He can deflect weapons with his spiky shell. Krabb protects the creatures of the sea.
• Hawkite Arrow of the Air is a huge condor who protects Gwildor and its people. She has fiery red eyes and a sharp beak. Her huge feathery wings can create winds when flapping. She has razor-sharp talons that can catch prey and enemies. Hawkite is and agile flyer with her large wings and speed and can outmaneuver intruders.
• Rokk the Walking Mountain is a Golem who lives in the mountains surrounding the town of Tion in Gwildor. He has a great, rocky body as big as any mountain. He can hide easily among the boulder-strewn slopes, because his huge body is made of rocks. His huge rocky fists can crush anything. He has boulders forming his muscled arms and squat legs and a great slab of stone makes his chest. Rokk has chasm-like eyes that can suck in the light.
• Koldo the Arctic Warrior is a giant made of ice. He has blue icy armour on his body, His icy spikes on his body can make him terrifying. He can regenerate his ice body. He wields a strong, spiky ice club in battle. Koldo is a gentle Beast, despite his strength, and protects the icy region of Gwildor. When Koldo was set free from Velmal's curse, he saves Tom.
• Trema the Earth Lord is a subterranean Serpent-slug hybrid Beast. He tunnels through the earth, using his six arms each with sharp claws. His jagged teeth in his gaping mouth can devour and defeat enemies. His long, slimy muscular body is covered in a thick blue armoured shell tough enough to withstand sword blows. He can see in the darkness with glowing red eyes and a row of jewels sparkles across on his head. Trema can trap prey with his sticky green slime.
• Amictus the Bug Queen is a giant emerald-green mantis. She attacks with her sharp scythe-like claws and six spiky limbs. Her two yellow serrated mandibles can catch opponents. She can fly with her four transparent wings. Her abdomen ends in a barbed stinger. She has a thick exoskeleton to withstand arrows. Ancient scrolls found in Gwildor tell that Amictus lays beautiful, shimmering eggs in the Rainbow Jungle. She is a highly protective mother and guards her young fiercely. Amictus can blend into the green with her camouflage.
• Komodo the Lizard King is a giant lizard who lurks in the freezing black sands of the Icy Desert in Kayonia. He uses his sharp teeth and three curved yellow claws to attack prey. He has a spiked head and a long, slimy purple forked tongue which make him a terrifying sight. His spiky red frills sprout from his head. His spiked tail can knock enemies. He can heave his body over the sand with his stubby, clawed legs. Komodo has a scaly hide as thick as chainmail.
• Muro the Rat Monster is a large rat the size of a bull who rampages through the fields of Kayonia. He has sharp teeth that can rip his prey. His yellow curved claws can slash his enemies. He can lurk in the cornstalks searching his victims with his gleaming yellow eyes in the dark nights or sends out his horrible, whistling squeak. His long pink tail whips back and forth and he has whiskers as sharp as blades. He can drip acidic saliva from his mouth. Muro can control swarms of rats with his every command.
• Fang the Bat Fiend is a huge bat lurking in the underground caves beneath the Golden Valley of Kayonia. He has big, black leathery wings like sails. His sharp fangs and grasping, hooked claws make him a deadly predator. He can fly with his wings. He can search victims in the darkness with his glowing orange eyes. Fang is almost impossible to see in the dark and can blind people if they get to close to him.
• Murk the Swamp Man is a humanoid Beast who hides in the boggy Kayonian marshlands. He is made of mud, repulsive green slime and decaying plants. He has a flame bursting in his scalp. His body can increase size in the swamp water. He has vines on his body. He waits beneath the surface of the swamp and can snatch any poor creature unfortune enough to be stuck in the algae-filled sludge, soon only their bones remain. Murk can blast slops of mud from his hands.
• Terra Curse of the Forest is a monstrous-looking living tree who dwells in the forests of Kayonia. He is covered in bark and moss to make him look like a tree. He has terrifying, glowing eyes emerging from beneath the bark. His teeth are like sharp, vicious splinters. He has clawed hands which make him nasty. He can use his branches as extra limbs to squeeze the life out of his victims. Terra can turn animals and people alike into wood.
• Vespick the Wasp Queen is a half woman, half wasp. She has an armour-plated body that can deflect arrows and other weapons. She has six brutal hooked claws on her hands and feet and a sharp stinger which oozes a deadly green venom, one drop will instantly kill her prey. Her four insect-like wings give her terrifying speed and agility. Her body has golden striped runes She is a skilled fighter against opponents. Vespick has an army of countless wasps at her every command, swarming around her victims and weaken them with excruciating stings. Poison from Vespick's stinger was used as a potion to save Tom's mother Freya.
• Convol the Cold-Blooded Brute is a giant crocodile standing on two rear legs. His sharp, rotten teeth and curved yellow claws glisten in the sun. He has jagged spikes on his back and tail. He has thick, scaly green skin covering his body almost impenetrable. He swims in the waters like other crocodiles. Convol can knock his enemies flying with his spiky tail.
• Hellion the Fiery Foe is a humanoid Beast made of molten rock and swirling flames. He has glowing eyes from his sockets. He can create fireballs out of his hands. His body can roll into a ball across the ground like a hurtling bonfire, scorching everything in his path. He can regenerate with fire. Hellion can burn and melt anything with his hot fires and magma.
• Krestor the Crushing Terror is a reptilian Beast with the long neck like a Serpent. He is coated in thick green scales too tough for Elenna's arrows. He has four legs with webbed claws that can propel him through the water. His strong head can smash anything like a club, His snaking coils can crush the life out of his victims. He also has sharp teeth and spikes on his head. He can can search out prey in the depths with his glowing red eyes. Krestor has other deadly weapons which are sharp spikes along his back that can shoot acid strong enough to melt flesh and bone.
• Madara the Midnight Warrior is a giant cat who prowls in the chilling mountains in the north of Tavantia. She has her sharp teeth and curved brown claws to attack enemies. Her crystal-white shaggy fur makes her almost invisible against the snow. She is always on the lookout for prey, danger or threats with her lidless yellow eyes. Madara can turn her fur into jagged glass spikes.
• Ellik the Lightning Horror is a massive electric eel. She lurks in the swampy waters where she can remain hidden. She can dart in the blink of an eye to snatch her prey with sharp fangs. Her eyes have electric surge vision. She has slimy blue and green scales covering her long, thick body to suck lightning from the sky as she stores the charge, ready to give her enemies a nasty shock. Ellik can change colors with her body and becomes stronger with lightning.
• Carnivora the Winged Scavenger is a large hyena with huge eagle-like wings with brown feathers for her left wing and white feathers for her right wing. Carnivora is ferocious with her jagged teeth, sharp claws and glowing yellow eyes. Even on the land she would be savage but she can fly with her feathery wings! Her lethal weapon is her hot breath that can melt frozen lakes making even the landscape deadly. Carnivora is protective with her cubs. Carnivora can combine her breath with Krestor's acid and Hellion's fire to create a fireball. She is a mother and can defend her cubs.
• Balsik the Water Snake is a giant sea snake who lurks in the Western Ocean. He has dagger-sharp fangs filled in his gaping mouth. His long. powerful body is covered in tough yellow and black scales. He has serrated spikes on his large fins on his head. Balisk can split himself for double attack.
• Koron Jaws of Death is a large tiger with blood-red fur. He has sharp teeth hidden behind his black lips that can drip a burning spittle that nearly destroyed Tom's shield. His sharp, curved claws can tear prey. His terrifying weapon is a scorpion tail with spikes to make him look like the Manticore. He has a golden stinger that can dart forward as fast as a whip to attack his victims. Koron can sting enemies with his scorpion tail.
• Hecton the Body Snatcher is a tall and bony humanoid Beast. He wears a cloak sewn together from scraps of fur and feathers and a bull's head as a hood. His head has flesh-eating purple worms for hair. He can breath green mist through people's bodies. Hecton uses a net and trident to trap his victims.
• Torno the Hurricane Dragon is a bipedal Dragon. He can breath winds from his mouth to blow his enemies through the air. His huge leathery wings give him flight and speed. He has sharp teeth and curved claws to attack his prey. Torno has a muscular body covered in golden scales. Torno was controlled by Sanpao with the Tree of Being.
• Kronus the Clawed Menace is an enormous vulture. He has oily-black feathers on his body which give out a dreadful stench. He has two big purple feathered wings for flight. His curved beak opens wider than the tallest man. He has sharp talons that can tear a person's heart out. Kronus can blast beams of blinding red light from his glowing red eyes, powerful enough to cut through stone. Nanook helped to defeat Kronus.
• Bloodboar the Buried Doom is a huge warthog and the clever Beast. He has a thick, warty hide covering his body as tough as any armour for withstanding weapons. He terrifies his enemies with his loud, deafening roar. His sharp teeth make him so ferocious and scratches enemies with his large, hooked claws. He has shaggy brown fur on his bulky body. Ursus can smell the fear of his prey. Ursus was back to normal by the magic harp used by Tom.
• Minos the Demon Bull is a calm and peaceful bull who grazed through the fields of Seraph, until he is transformed into a large, monstrous bull when Petra fed him magically poisoned seeds. He has two twisted, sharp horns sprouting from his head. His nose and big hooves have cruel, jagged spikes. He has a tail ending in a spiky mace. Minos can blow a foul-smelling black steam out of his nostrils.
• Koraka the Winged Assassin is a good, innocent shepherdess named Cora until she was transformed into a half woman, half eagle. She has huge, feathery bird wings with flight and speed. Her hands and feet have sharp, fearsome talons. She has two curved horns on her head. Koraka carries a three-pronged spear, given her several options for attack. She swoops and catches her victims.
• Silver the Wild Terror is a wolf friend of Elenna transformed into a giant savage wolf many times his usual size. He has sharp teeth and curved claws to attack. His howl can call other wolves and can control them for his minions. His white fur is spiky. Silver can smell his prey from distances. Silver was changed back to normal by the magic potion.
• Spikefin the Water King is an innocent fishermen named Brenner transformed into a half man half sea creature like a monstrous Merman. He has sharp teeth that can pierce flesh with ease. His hooked claws make him deadly and vicious. He has a whip tail to knock enemies. He has serrated fins on his body that can destroy any boat. Spikefin uses a trident for combat.
• Torpix the Twisting Serpent is a huge snake who is the guardian of the Eternal Flame. Torpix has sharp fangs to catch prey and a long slimy blue forked tongue. He has a body as long and thick as an oak tree. His green and yellow scales are stronger iron and are covered with nasty, jagged spikes. He sneaks up on his victims and squeezes the air from their bodies. He can knock his opponents with his barbed tail. Torpix can hurl yellow acid that melts through wood and metal from his forked tongue.
• Noctila the Death Owl is a giant owl. She has burning orange eyes with the gleam of evil in the black slits and jagged teeth in place of a beak. She can turn her head to see her prey. Her large wings have sleek grey feathers which drip thick, hot black tar that can burn a person's skin from their flesh. She snatches victims with her sharp talons. She can fly with her wings. Noctila sends out screeches that can deafen anyone nearby. Noctila was once defeated by the Silver Knight of Forton.
• Shamani the Raging Flame is a huge cheetah with black fur that gleams like oil and hot flames on the body. He has long, sharp teeth. His vicious, hooked claws on his paws are made of magical, shiny amber. He can use his long whip-like tail to knock a grown person flying. He rakes his sharp claws across the ground to create sparks. He can jump twenty paces in a single bound Shamani can roar so loud enough to splinter rocks. Shamani was once defeated by the Black Knight of Forton.
• Lustor the Acid Dart is a large toad from the putrid marshes among the rocks and moss. He has a long slimy, curling tongue to catch enemies. His sharp teeth and curved claws are deadly like daggers. He has eyes like a fish and putrid warts on his green body. He has sacs on his throat filled with a yellow acid that sprays and melts flesh. Lustor can blend in the marsh with his slimy skin. Lustor was once defeated by the Red Knight of Forton.
• Voltrex the Two-Headed Octopus is a gigantic octopus with two heads. He can swim in and out of the water. He crushes rocks with his single, powerful curved beak. His eight long slimy tentacles can grapple with a ship. He can spray black ink to blind his prey. Voltrex has jagged spikes on four of his tentacles. Voltrex was once defeated by the Blue Knight of Forton.
• Tecton the Armoured Giant is a massive armadillo who is one of the most powerful Beasts. He has sharp teeth and curved claws to attack enemies. His wide body is covered in a thick hide of armoured plates bristling with multiple jagged spikes. He can shoot spikes from his tail. Tecton can curl himself into a ball and roll across the ground to crush his victims. Tecton was once defeated by the White Knight of Forton.
• Doomskull the King of Fear is a Sphinx made of stone. He has a skeletal face, unnerving, empty black eye sockets and a mane bursting in flames. He has sharp saber-tooth fangs and large powerful paws. His lion-like body is full of rippling muscles. Doomskull invades nightmares of people who are unfortune enough to gaze upon him. Doomskull was once defeated by the Golden Knight of Forton. Tom becomes Master of the Beasts after defeating Doomskull!
• Elko Lord of the Sea is a monstrous sea Beast made of seaweed. Elko has sharp teeth in his mouth. He has slimy purple tentacles on his face and hands. His limbs can regenerate. He can reform his body with seaweeds. He can catch victims with his tentacles. Elko controls sea creatures like sharks. Elko was created from the blood of Sepron.
• Tarrok the Blood Spike is a dreadful humanoid cactus Beast with spikes. He can trap his victims with yellow sticky sap like cocoons. His muscular body is covered with cruel, sharp red spikes that can be like spears. He can crush enemies with his large hands. He burrows under the desert sands of Henkrall. Tarrok can breath blinding sands. Tarrok was created from the blood of Nanook.
• Brutus the Hound of Horror is a giant dog who lurks in the marshlands of Henkrall. He has huge, powerful leathery wings that he can use to fly and waft putrid fog. His sharp teeth and curled claws make him ferocious to attack his victims. He has three curved horns on his head. Brutus can breath clouds of nasty fog to evade capture or sneak up on his opponents. Brutus has a weakness to fire. Brutus was created from the blood of Epos.
• Flaymar the Scorched Blaze is a fiery Beast created from the image of Kensa the Sorceress. She is made of molten rock and wears golden armour. Her eyes are like fires and has fiery hair on her scalp. She has scorching wings. Her hands create fires. She wields fiery whips to attack her enemies. Flaymar can turn herself into lava. Flaymar was created from the blood of Ferno.
• Serpio the Slithering Shadow is a huge Serpent made of ice. He has a single yellow eye that glows brightly in the darkness. He has sharp fangs and a long, slimy forked tongue to consume prey. His long body is covered in blue scales, gleaming like crystals. He has two leathery wings on his head each with spikes. He can turn his gemstone heart into a second eye for his tail. Serpio can breath a hail of freezing water that can encase enemies in ice. Serpio was created from the blood of Arcta.
• Tauron the Pounding Fury is a buffalo Centaur. He has two curved, jutting horns on his head. His hooves can stomp the ground. He has to leathery bat wings. He has the powerful body of a blue buffalo towering over people. Tauron has three steel claws on his left hand and wields a two-pronged sword that can slice a man in half. Tauron is a master swordsman. Tauron was created from the blood of Tagus.
• Solak Scourge of the Sea is a giant shark. He has gills and a sleek, silvery blue body that changes color as he slides through the water. His eyes stare with cold hatred upon his prey. He devours his victims with his many dagger-sharp teeth in his large mouth. Solak has multiple fins made of serrated bone. Tom defeats Solak with the blue Lightning Token.
• Kajin the Beast Catcher is an enormous wolfman towering over humans. He has saber-like sharp teeth to rip prey to pieces and drips with venomous saliva that can cause instant fever. He has long, hooked yellow claws to scratch foes. His shaggy fur is brown and grey. He howls to search anyone in the distance. Kajin can use a net from which there's no escape to trap people, animals and Beasts alike. Tom defeats Kajin with the white Lightning Token.
• Issrilla the Creeping Menace is a massive lizard who is a mistress of disguise. She has sharp teeth and two-toed curved claws to kill prey. She can blend in the background with her camouflage. She has a long slimy whip tongue to knock enemies. Her skeleton is covered in slimy, transparent jelly-green scales that can change color. She can sting her victims with her long, barbed tail. Issrilla can spit deadly acid venom that can burn through flesh. Issrilla was once a former Beast of Henkrall. Tom defeats Issrilla with the golden Lightning Token.
• Vigrash the Clawed Eagle is a large Griffin. She has big black eagle-like wings and the body of a lioness. Her curved yellow beak and sharp claws can tear a man to pieces. She has two jutting horns on her head. She flies with her wings for speed. Vigrash soars in the skies and sends her enemies plummeting to their doom. Tom defeats Vigrash with the red Lightning Token.
• Mirka the Ice Horse is a huge horse made of ice. He has a single curved, sprouting blue horn jutting on his head. He has hideous, sharp blue teeth and three curved claws for hooves. His nostrils blow scorching fire. He can shoot sharp ice shards from his spiked tail to trap his enemies. Mirka is a terrifying combination of fire and ice. Tom defeats Mirka with the purple Lightning Token.
• Kama the Faceless Beast is a grotesque half man, half spider Beast. He has a faceless head with long black hair, a gaping mouth and a black eye. His anchor-shaped gash can be seen on his face. His massive green spider-like body has spiked legs to attack. He has a scar on his chest. He can spray webs from his body to trap his victims. Kama uses a long whip made of webs, using it to drag people to his cave lair. Tom defeated Kama with the orange Lightning Token. Kama was an old enemy of Taladon.
• Skurik the Forest Demon is a giant putrid, foul-smelling maggot who is one of the most frightening Beasts in the Warrior's Road. He has multiple blue eyes to see people. He traps children and victims alive in sticky sacs hung from the trees in the woods near Tom's home village Erinnel. His gaping mouth sharp teeth and an inner mouth with the same sharp teeth used like a tongue. He can crawl the ground with his clawed limbs. Skurik spits sticky purple slime to trap foes. Skurik can have his pale skin vulnerable to fire.
• Targro the Arctic Menace is a large arctic fox who prowls in the icy wastelands. He attacks his prey with his sharp teeth and curved hook-like crystal claws. His pointy ears hear prey and uses his pointy snout, letting him sniff the air to search for a traveler foolish enough to be in the snow. He can blend in with the snow with his pale white and lilac fur. He gives out a putrid stink of his rotting breath.
• Slivka the Cold-Hearted Curse is a massive lizard who dwells in the jungle. He has three glowing eyes and two jutting bull-like horns crested on his head. He can use his long tongue to snatch his victims and consume them with his sharp teeth. His three fearsome, curved claws can slash trees with ease while standing on two rear legs. He can use his bull horns to attack. Slivka has blue scales on his body that protect him from heat.
• Linka the Sky Conqueror is a huge eagle. Linka can crush stone with her sharp, serrated beak. She has tawny brown feathers on her large, powerful wings. Her yellow eyes allow her to search prey in the distance. She has no legs and even talons, her lower half is a long, feathery tail with thick reptile-like scales. Her tail ends in a barbed stinger. She can defen anyone nearby with her powerful shriek. She flies and swoops to catch unexpected people and travelers. Linka has brown feathers on her body.
• Vermok the Spiteful Scavenger is a giant bald rat and is one of the horrific Beasts awaiting brave warriors in the Warrior's Road. Vermok has two huge, curved tusks jutting from his snout to attack his enemies. He consumes prey with his nasty, sharp fangs. His vicious, curled white claws are his most dangerous weapons. He has two long scaly tails to catch enemies. Vermok can see victims in the darkness of the deep caves beneath the Last City with his glowing eyes.
• Koba Ghoul of the Shadows is a demonic, muscular Genie Beast who is the powerful, last Beast to be faced during the Warrior's Road. He has different-colored, sparkling eyes, one orange and one green. His lower part of the body is like an orange swirling mist. He has clawed hands on his arms. He can shape-shift into any human. Koba has stitches and various tattoos on his body to make him look like a demon. Tom defeats Koba to claim as Master of the Beasts.
• Raffkor the Stampeding Brute - Raffkor is a giant young purple bull with four sharp horns engulfed in magical blue flames. He can smash through anything with his horns. His two-hooved feet can cause landslides. White mist blow from his nostrils. He can blast powerful beams of fire-like light from his horns. Tom freed Raffkor by cutting off his blackened horn.
• Vislak the Slithering Serpent - Vislak is a huge young cobra. He can slither silently across the ground. His eight sharp fangs fill his mouth and jagged spikes crested on the frills on his head. His long, slimy forked tongue can taste the fear of his prey. He can spit sticky purple venom that can harden to trap foes. Tom freed Vislak by slashing his blackened tongue.
• Tikron the Jungle Master - Tikron is a large young monkey. He can climb up in the trees with agility. His monstrous fangs and sharp claws make him so ferocious. His whip tail can knock enemies flying. He can burst people's eardrums with his deafening screech. Tom freed Tikron by removing his blackened tail.
• Falra the Snow Phoenix - Falra is a young white Phoenix. She has a curved yellow beak and glistening wings that can ripple with hot flames. Her sharp talons can drip with molten lava. She can fly through speeds in the airs. Tom freed Falra by destroying her blackened feather.
• Maltor the Monster of Flame - Maltor is a massive young fiery leopard. He can breath hot fires. His sharp teeth can bite enemies with an ease. His paws have curved claws that can melt anything within his slash. He can make his body so scorching hot. Tom freed Maltor by taking off his blackened claw.
• Demnor the Cursed Dragon - Demnor is a young Dragon, but when is cursed, he is as fearsome as ever. He can fly with his leathery wings. His scales are red, green, blue and purple in color. He can breath powerful flames from his mouth to scorch everything in his path. Tom freed Demnor by using the potion created from ingredients to cure him.
• Vedra and Krimon Twin Beasts of Avantia are twin young Dragons who share a peaceful, special bond. They are born in Avantia very rarely. They are hatched from an egg, lain in the Nidrem Caves for centuries. Their leathery wings give them flight and speed. They have sharp teeth and curved raptor-like claws. Vedra and Krimon can breath fires. Malvel has planned to enchant the Dragons with the rare Lunar Blood. Tom and Elenna saved the Dragons with helps of Ferno and Epos.
• Spiros the Ghost Phoenix is a Phoenix who is said to be known as the lost seventh Beast of Avantia all told by Aduro. She has a curved beak, sharp talons and big wings. Her red and orange feathers shimmer against the sky. Malvel bewitched her, separated her soul from her body, now she live between life and death. She can be rarely seen in the skies and no ordinary person could tame her. Spiros merges with Nawdren the Black Phoenix to be normal again. Spiros has the rare power of All-Sight.
• Arax the Soul Stealer is a half man half bat Beast who lives in the caves in the mountain range of southern Avantia. He can fly through speeds with his big red leathery wings and use hooked talons on them to catch opponents. His two curved horns jutting on his head make him terrifying sharp enough to pierce any shield. He can see in the darkness with his wicked, glowing eyes. He uses a long whip with barbs to steal the souls of his victims. Arax can create evil lookalikes of his enemies like Tom.
• Kragos and Kildor the Two-Headed Demon are two-in-one Beasts who can split and reform themselves into two different creatures. They last appear in the forms of a red stag and a white ram. Their antlers and horns glow like golden. The Two-Headed Demon desires a magical golden Cup of Life, a precious object which will protect anyone who drinks it against death and must be kept in the fire to preserve its magic. They have sharp throwing stars that can slice anything. Kragos and Kildor can glow with fire on their combined body.
• Sephir the Storm Monster is a monstrous, living tornado. He can create powerful winds within his body. He has wicked, glowing yellow eyes. His arms are like swirling winds. Sephir has a blue glowing orb hiding in his body which gives him life and power.
• Creta the Winged Terror is a giant insect Beast made of countless swarms of beetles called Stabiors. Creta can fly with his leathery wings. He has clawed limbs and two serrated mandibles. His huge blue shell covers his wings and green wide. He has two curved, mighty horns crested on his head. Creta can turn his body into armies of nasty beetles and reform. Creta can be defeated in water.
• Aldroim the Shape-Shifter is a giant four-legged cat-like Beast who dwells in the secret tunnels beneath Avantia. He has glowing eyes like burning coals, jagged teeth and three razor-sharp claws that can slice through rocks and blast oil. His eyes search enemies in the dark tunnels. Aldroim has a skin which is made up of fur, feathers, scales, broken bones and hides of his victims. Aldroim can shape-shift into any form of creature.
• Cornix the Deadly Trickster is a skeletal part woman, part crow Beast. She has a gruesome human skull for a face. She has sharp talons on her hands and feet. Her bird-like wings allow her to fly. She has glowing eyes narrowing in the dark nights. Cornix lures unexpected travelers with strange lights from a lantern and consumes them within her cloak. Cornix can be weak against Ferno's fiery breath.
• Reptus the Ocean King is a Sea Serpent and a mysterious Beast. He slumbers beneath the Western Ocean. He has sharp teeth and spikes on his back. His scales shimmer like colors. Reptus was controlled by anyone who uses the magical diamond hidden the ocean floor. Sanpao have attempted to control Reptus.
• Mortaxe the Skeleton Warrior is a giant skeletal humanoid Beast. He wears a suit of metallic dark armour in his skeletal body. His skull has a horned helmet with a blue jewel and wields a powerful scythe. Although Mortaxe was once a brave warrior named Tarrik, until he was turned evil with the heart of Krindok, a terrifying Beast in the Grassy Plains. He becomes a powerful Beast and he held the power to control the Good Beasts of Avantia. Mortaxe can defend himself by deflecting swords and arrows with armour. The Gallery of Tombs is found in a long staircase lit with crystals.
• Ravira Ruler of the Underworld is a female humanoid Beast who rules the Underworld beneath Avantia. She lives in a castle made of glistening white stone, in the city surrounded by rivers of molten lava. Her hands hold long leashes with barbs like whips. Ravira controls ferocious Hounds of Avantia that can rip a man to pieces, and even turn people into other Hounds!
• Marlik the Drowning Terror is a water Beast like a gillman. He has jagged teeth in his mouth and slimy tentacles on his beard. His body is covered in green scales. He has sharp claws on his hands to attack. He can shape-shift into any kind of human or liquid as he lies like a pool of stagnant water where he waits to catch swimmers. Marlik shoots water from his hands.
• Klaxa the Armoured Enemy is a massive rhinoceros with thick armour like stone and curved horns on her head. She can destroy anything in her path with her horns. She is cunning and can retract her limbs and head onto her body to make her look like a boulder. When the people pass by, she emerges to surprise them. Her big feet can stomp enemies. She can use her sharp, poisonous horn on her snout to impale her victims. Klaxa has a hide as incredibly tough as stone.
• Raksha the Mirror Demon is a demonic Beast. He is not really just one Beast, but several. He wears a massive suit of golden strong armour. His head has writhing green snakes for hairs. He can be summoned in the Lake of Light, a hidden pool that lies in the Forest of Fear and the Central Plains. An enchanted Mirror lures the six Good Beasts of Avantia to the lake's edge, where Raksha can draw upon their combined powers. Raksha has the sharp claws like Ferno, the green scales like Sepron, the single eye like Arcta, the legs and hooves like Tagus, the white fur like Nanook, and can create fireballs from his hands like Epos. Raksha has a symbol on his chest armour that looks like Tom's Shield.
• Graskor the Beast Guard is a winged Beast who killed the former Master of the Beasts. As a punishment, he was sent by Aduro to the Camber of Pain, a prison island that floats in the stormy seas of the Western Ocean. He guards the inmates. His big leathery bat wings give him flight and speed. Grashkor attacks in the battlements and cracking his bone-like whip that he wields like a weapon. Tom saves Elenna from Grashkor with help from Sepron and Epos.
• Polkai the Shark Man is the brother of Sanpao the Pirate King, one of Tom's enemies transformed into a half man half shark when Sanpao betrayed his brother to live his life as a Beast. He has sharp, vicious teeth in his mouth. His skeletal body is hollow so that an arrow won't harm him. Polkai wields a serrated cutlass. The fin on top of Polkai's head is his only weak spot.
• Dredda the Tunnelling Menace is a subterranean Beast. She has a body like a giant snake with thick green scales. Her sharp teeth can crush stone and make them into dust. She tunnels through the earth with her four arms with deadly, curved diamond-tipped claws. She can use her eyes to see in the darkness. Dredda can use her strong head like a club. The only way to defeat Dredda get the better of her is by targeting a tiny patch of weak flesh underneath her jaw. Only Tom, a true hero of Avantia could tackle this Beast.
• Ferrok the Iron Soldier is a knight-like giant made of molten iron and has hot flames. He can blast fireballs from his hands. He has a sharp sword that can magically draw flame into his body. His body has hot lava from the hole on his chest. Ferrok can create a net made of fiery ropes to keep Tom subdue. Ferrok can enchant people into his servants called Iron Warriors.
• Viktor the Deadly Archer is the last of the Deadly Archers, cruel hunters who stalk the kingdoms, looking for Beasts to kill. He wears a suit of bronze armour. His bow shoots golden arrows disguised as the spikes that suck the lifeforce out of his victims, leaving them as mindless husks. He is ten-feet tall with a metal helmet with two horns which give him powers. Viktor also wields a sharp, heavy broadsword. Viktor's skeleton horse is named Ossator.
• Ossator the Skeleton Horse is a skeletal horse and the Beast steed of Viktor. He wears bronze armour on his body lit with green jewels. His skull has two curved horns. Ossator can fly through the air and can reform himself when attacked.
• Anoret the First Beast is a colossal lizard-like Beast who is the very first to exist, live and rampage through the kingdom of Avantia believed by the legends. She produces hundreds of the Beast eggs across the skies in the kingdoms and gives birth to four young Beasts. Long times ago, an evil Warlord named Derthsin stole her face and wore it like a mask called the Mask of Death given him the power to control Anoret. Hundreds of years after this epic battle, Kensa sought to use this mask wearing it to control not only the First Beast, but six young and innocent Beasts as well. Tom and Elenna defeated Sanpao and Kensa and their armies with the helps of the six young Beasts and Wilfred the Beast Keeper and Anoret returned to her slumber. Anoret is the legendary mother of all Beasts!
• Okawa the River Beast is a Beast based on the Kappa. He was created by magic which infects a normal person and slowly transforms him into a Beast. He has green flesh like slimy sinew. His back is protected and covered a hardened turtle-like shell with thick green scales. He can set traps to catch unexpected travelers. Worst of all, Okawa has a poisoned touch which is enough to make victims lose their minds, turning them into his mindless slaves. Okawa has only one weakness, if the hollow with water in the top of his skull goes dry, he loses his powers, so Tom must keep him away from water and he might stand a chance! An evil spell has transformed Tom's Uncle Henry into Okawa!
• Skolo the Bladed Monster is a giant centepide who lurks in the Darkmaw Caves. She has six steel blade-like leathery wings that can slice rocks. Her long, segmented body has a purple exoskeleton. She crawls and climbs across the cave walls with her hundred legs, sees in the darkness with her yellow eyes and can catch prey with a sharp pincer extending in her mouth. Skolo can protect her young, Talador. Skolo can spit sticky purple goo to trap her victims.
• Jakara the Ghost Warrior is perhaps the most tragic Beast Tom has encountered. She is a hideous, magical fusion of Jalka the Ghost Beast and Kara, a former Mistress of the Beasts. She can control winds and water with her despicable magic. Her golden armour suit makes her powerful. She haunts the island of Krikos. When Aduro set on his own quest to find Kara, Tom followed. He was faced the task of finding a way to free the Good Warrior from the awful fate of being bound to an Evil Beast forever. Kara now rests in peace in the Gallery of Tombs.
• Jalka the Ghost Beast is the scourge of the island of Krikos. His body is made of eerie, swirling white mist, He can posses humans like Kara into a ghostly hybrid Beast, Jakara. Tom splits Kara and Jalka to defeat the Beast and free the Mistress of the Beasts.
• Yakorix the Ice Bear is a great polar bear towering over foes. She has sharp teeth, six curved horns and jagged brown spikes jutting from her spine. Her glowing eyes narrow in on her victims. She can crush a person with her huge paws with sharp, hooked claws, making the ground shake as she charges across the snow. Yakorix once slept beneath the snow in legends, but when she is awakened, she was as deadly as ever. The only way to defeat Yakorix is to bury her under the snow once again. The Good Beast, Nanook faces terrible danger when Yakorix rises again.
• Tempra the Time Stealer is a strange one-eyed slithering blue Beast having powerful magic. She has multiple slimy tentacles to catch her enemies and steal their souls. Her large eye glows with light. Tempra can also travel through time, changing history forever! People imagine others forgetting who they are because time has already been rewritten! Tom defeats Tempra to save his kingdom of Avantia.
• Falkor the Coiled Terror is a vast, giant dark snake is one of Avantia's precious, ancient Beasts ever to protect the kingdom and the companion of Rufus, Avantia's first wizard. He has jagged spikes on his head. His razor-sharp fangs with a deadly bite and squeezing coils are both killers. He has a long, coiling body with sleek dark-golden scales that change color. • Kyrax the Metal Warrior is a Gargoyle and made of metal, created by Igor with the drop of Tom's blood. He has big feathery, silver wings that he can fly and can also absorb weapons to grant his powers. His arm becomes a sharp blade. He can create lightning blasts from his hand. Kyrax can create portals to other realms. Kyrax quickly becomes a menace Igor cannot even control. So powerful is this Beast that Tom and Elenna needed to call Ferno for back up!
• Magror Ogre of the Swamps is a giant, four-armed Ogre with a nest of writhing green snakes for hair and two sharp tusks and one of the Beasts of the past, and provides quite an adversary for young Taladon and a team of warriors who accompanied him. He is the strongest Beast ever. He has thick skin to withstand arrows, His large club-like fists can punch through anything. Magror can pummel and crush enemies with his strength. Taladon had to prevent Malvel from seizing the kingdom of Gorgonia.
• Verak the Storm King is a colossal lobster. He has four huge, razor-sharp pincers for hands strong enough to catch enemies and crush boats and ships and battled Krabb. His large, wide and tough violet shell which covers his body like armour can withstand swords and arrows. Verak can cause storms and create humongous tidal waves with his arms. Verak was controlled by anyone who wields the legendary Jeweled Sword. Verak had been brought under the thrall of Ria, Sanpao and Kensa's wicked daughter to wreak havoc on the kingdom of Gwildor. Verak has swallowed Sanpao the Pirate King!
• Ospira the Savage Sorceress is actually the sister of Aduro, Avantia's greatest Wizard who had been cursed by the Stone of Derthsin to take the form of a dreadful Beast. She is armed with a staff with fiery, powerful magic. Her necklace has the Stone of Derthsin. She has curved horns on her head. Ospira can shape-shift into any human she desires. Ospira kidnaps Prince Thomas, King Hugo's young baby nephew. Daltec discovered Ospira's journal which tells her tragic story. The Beast of Stone has the power to posses Ospira.
• Scalamanx the Fiery Fury is a giant lava lizard who was conquered by Freya many years. Tom was drawn battle with the Beast when his friend, Petra accidentally restored him to life! He has fiery whip-like tendrils on his head to scorch everything in his path. His sharp teeth and curved claws can attack. Scalamanx has fire-orange scales covering his body. He was once a former Beast of Gwildor. Scalamanx can be weak against water and cold.
• Petorix the Winged Slicer is a Dragon-like Beast and one of the few Beasts of the past. Tom's ancestor, Tanner defeated her years ago. She has leathery wings for flight and speed. Her long, slimy forked tongue drips with deadly venom that can kill a person in minutes and four days. Petorix has sharp teeth and hooked claws that can slice trees and stone. The only way to cure Petorix's poison is the antidote from her eggshell found in Hartsman Woods, now known as the Forest of Fear.
• Arkano the Stone Crawler is a strange-looking reptilian Beast. He has multiple yellow eyes and a long, sinuous body covered in jade-green scales that can glow like molten lava. His red spear-like claws and a long, scaly barbed tail make this Beast look terrifying. He can climb through walls with his claws. Arkano can breath clouds of dark smoke that can encase people and objects in stone. In Avantia, a local hero claims to have defeated Arkano, but it was Ria in disguise.
• Bixara the Horned Dragon is a giant Dragon who lives in the island paradise of Thallassi. She has two big, curved brown horns jutting on her head. Her body has magenta scales with brown and purple spots. Bixara has razor-sharp teeth, three-fingered hooked claws and four huge, powerful purple leathery wings. This Dragon can breath magical fire that can age people rapidly and revert them to normal. Years ago, Bixara battled the cruel ruler of the paradise, King Hafor as her enemy. Bixara and her young live in peace and harmony in the island after saving Tom.
