The Act Concerning Strangers 1540 (32 Henry VIII, c.16) was an act of the Parliament of England.
The act restricted most migrants from working and migrants were regularly prosecuted for breaching this restriction.[1]
The act is held at the Parliamentary Archives of the United Kingdom.[2]
