Abdul Fattah, (Bengali: আব্দুল ফাত্তাহ; born 29 December 1958) is a Bangladeshi entrepreneur, philanthropist, humanitarian and businessman.
Early life
[edit]Abdul Fattah was born in Feni, Chittagong, Bangladesh. Mr. Abdul holds a Diploma in Engineering from Feni Polytechnic Institute, completed in 1979.
Business career
[edit]With over 30 years of experience, Mr.Abdul Fattah has emerged as one of Bangladesh's most respected industrialists, particularly known for his pioneering role in advancing the Bangladesh’s IT sector in the post-independence era. Mr. Abdul Fattah began his career at Multipress Industry Ltd., a German-owned company, where he gained early experience in electric, hydraulic, electronics, and pneumatics technology.
However, driven by a vision to create something of his own; he embarked on a journey that would transform Bangladesh’s IT and business sectors.
Through hard work, dedication, and strategic leadership, he established himself as the Chairman of leading companies, including Global Brand PLC., EXIM Synergy Ltd, Redfern Ltd., Inovace Technologies, ESL Bangladesh Limited, Express Systems Limited, Blue Berry Technology SDN. BHD. and JACK Sewing Bangladesh Ltd.
Global Brand PLC is the largest IT distributor company in Bangladesh, representing over 110 internationally renowned brands.
Under the visionary leadership of its Chairman, Mr. Abdul Fattah, Global Brand PLC has played a pivotal role in shaping Bangladesh's IT landscape by introducing cutting-edge technologies and fostering partnerships with global tech giants.[1]
Mr. Fattah has made significant contributions across industries, including information technology, telecommunications, textile machinery, medical equipment, agro item exports and imports, and power.
