The 2031 AFC Asian Cup will be the 20th edition and mark the 75th anniversary of the AFC Asian Cup, started in 1956, the quadrennial international men's football championship of Asia organised by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC).

[edit]Indonesia announced its intention to bid for the 2031 Asian Cup on 11 December 2024.[1][2][3][4] Indonesia previously co-hosted the 2007 tournament with Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam. Which is planned to be held at stadiums like Gelora Bung Karno Stadium, Jakarta International Stadium, Gelora Bung Tomo Stadium, Jalak Harupat Stadium, Manahan Stadium, Gelora Sriwijaya Stadium, Pakansari Stadium, and North Sumatra Stadium.
The Kuwait Football Association has announced it has submitted a bid for the 2031 Asian Cup on 30 December 2024 following the 26th Arabian Gulf Cup's conclusion.[5] They had previously hosted the 1980 Asian Cup. Some of the stadiums that are hosting the tournament are Jaber Al-Ahmad International Stadium, Sulaibikhat Stadium, and two stadiums that will be completed in 2025. They also plan to build more stadiums as per AFC and FIFA standards.
