The season is progressing through the regular season, followed by many conference tournaments and championship series, and concludes with the 2025 NCAA Division I baseball tournament and 2025 Men's College World Series (MCWS). Conference realignment

[edit]

Two schools transitioned from NCAA Division II to Division I after the 2024 season.[1]

A total of 18 baseball-sponsoring schools changed conferences after the 2024 season.

The 2025 season is the last for four Division I baseball schools in their current conferences.

[edit]

Thirty athletic conferences each end their regular seasons with a single-elimination tournament or a double-elimination tournament.
