[edit]- 10 May: Air Vanuatu, the country's flag carrier ceases, is placed in liquidation by the Government of Vanuatu.[1]
- 29 May: 2024 Vanuatuan constitutional referendum: Vanuatuans hold the first national constitutional referendum to vote on amendments related to party switching.[2]
- 17 December: A magnitude 7.3 earthquake strikes in the Coral Sea, 19 miles west of Port Vila,[3] killing at least 14 people.[4]
