The 2024 Dakota State Trojans football team represented Dakota State University as a member of the North Star Athletic Association[1] during the 2024 NAIA football season. The Trojans were led by 16th year head coach Josh Anderson.[2] They played their home games at Brian Kern Family Stadium[3] in Madison, South Dakota.

Brian Kern Family Stadium

The 2024 season marked the inaugural season for Brian Kern Family Stadium.[4] The Trojans played their first game in the new stadium on August 29, 2024, against Dakota Wesleyan and won by a score of 34–3.[5][6]

Trojan Nights

To celebrate the opening of Brian Kern Family Stadium and the Beacom PREMIER Complex, Dakota State University held an event named Trojan Nights inside Brian Kern Family Stadium. This event included musical acts from Old Dominion, Brothers Osborne, and Elle King.[7]
