The 2023–24 Kansas State Wildcats women's basketball team represented Kansas State University in the 2024–25 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. The Wildcats were led by 11th-year head coach Jeff Mittie. They played their home games at Bramlage Coliseum in Manhattan, Kansas, and were members of the Big 12 Conference.

Previous season

K-State finished the season 26–8, 13–5 in Big 12 and finished third in the conference. The Wildcats began the season with a school-record 20-1 start, seeing them match their best ranking in school history reaching #2 in both the AP and Coaches Poll on January 29, 2024.[1]

As the third seed in the Big 12 tournament, they defeated sixth-seeded West Virginia 65–62 in the quarterfinals, before falling 71–64 to second-seeded Texas in the semifinals.

The Wildcats earned an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament, where they earned a four seed and hosted the first two rounds of the tournament at Bramlage Coliseum for the first time since 2016.[2] In the first round, K-State defeated 13-seed Portland 78–65 before ending their season with a second-round defeat to fifth-seeded Colorado by a 63–50 margin.[3]
