The 2024–25 season is the 2nd season in the history of Colchester United Women's Football Club and their first season in the Essex County Women's Football League Premier Division. In addition to the domestic league, the club would also participate in the Essex County Women's Football League Cup and the BBC Essex Women's Cup.
Season Summary
[edit]On 26 February the club announced through its Instagram page that Simon King had stepped down as head coach due to personal reasons after one year in charge. King had lead the team to promotion and a League Cup victory in their first-ever season [1].

Pre-season and friendlies
[edit]On 16 July, Colchester announced their pre-season friendlies, against Stevenage, Hutton Football Club and Southend. On the 29 July the club announced a further fixture to take place against Capel Plough Football Club.
On the 29 August the club announced via it’s Instagram page that the final pre-season fixture would take place on the 1 September against A.F.C. Sudbury.
