[edit]- 15 November - Croatia wins the 1st Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Copenhagen, Denmark. The winning song is "Ti si moja prva ljubav" performed by 11-year-old Dino Jelusić.[1]

- 30 December - Hamdija Seferović wins the second season of Big Brother.[2]

- 17 April - The new Croatian Idol, under the title of Hrvatska traži zvijezdu debuts on RTL.

- 18 December - 15-year-old baton twirler Tihomir Bendelja wins the first season of Supertalent.
