The One Hundred Seventh Wisconsin Legislature is the current ongoing legislative term in Wisconsin. It was convened on January 6, 2025, in regular session, and is scheduled to conclude on January 4, 2027, though it will likely adjourn for legislative activity in the Spring of 2026.
This is the first legislative session after the redistricting of the Senate and Assembly according to an act of the previous session.
Senators representing even-numbered districts are newly elected for this session and are serving the first two years of a four-year term. Assembly members are elected to a two-year term. Assembly members and even-numbered senators were elected in the general election of November 5, 2024. Senators representing odd-numbered districts are serving the third and fourth year of their four-year term, having been elected in the general election of November 8, 2022.[1]

- April 1, 2025: 2025 Wisconsin Spring election:
- 2025 Wisconsin Supreme Court election.
- An amendment to the Wisconsin Constitution will appear on the ballot relating to voter ID requirements.
- April 7, 2026: 2026 Wisconsin Spring election.
- November 3, 2026: 2026 United States general election:
Major legislation
[edit]- January 14, 2025: Joint Resolution to create section 1m of article III of the constitution; relating to: requiring photographic identification to vote in any election (second consideration). Second legislative passage of a proposed amendment to the Constitution of Wisconsin, creating a constitutional requirement to present photo identification before voting.[2]
