- Weather forecast
- Weather appears to be "mostly cloudy. Highs in the upper 50s. Southwest winds 10 to 20 mph." The evening has a chance of rain. As always, a ferry trip across the bay means bundle up against the penetrating cold wind.

- Bikes and segways are available for rental on the island, but the island is 1.2 square miles (3.1 km2)
- Remember to bring sunscreen
- Need volleyball or inflatable beach ball -- please remove this if you can bring one
