Oppose I rarely chime in first on these taxonomic images, but I have two composition problems. First a perch where the feet are not so hard to identify would be better.     - I'd suggest its calling rather than being alarmed. Excluding perhaps colour I'm not sure the feet are that important for EV purposes - they might put you in the Passerines, but I'm not sure they'd give you much more than that. Noodle snacks (talk) 21:30, 28 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Support crop 2 first, original second, and oppose crop 1: Nice. Shame the bird doesn't appear smaller, but apart from the scale, I suppose he's fluffing up his feathers for a mating display. I think it's worth mentioning on the image description page that this is breeding plumage.
