License tagging for Image:Ramappa Temple- Rear Entrance of the Temple Complex.JPG
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Ramappa Temple- Rear Entrance of the Temple Complex.JPG. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

As far as I know, there is no problem with the images, which I haven't deleted, it's your use of them. You created encyclopaedia pages which consist just of a gallery of your images. This is not an encyclopaedia article; it contains no text, and even if it did so, it would have to provide independent verifiable sources that it met the notability guidelines. I like your pictures, but Wikipaedia is not Flickr, andis not intended to just display images Jimfbleak. Talk to me.07:24, 21 May 2007 (UTC)
