[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Karibyron.JPG. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).

The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}.

Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me. Thank you. Drat (Talk) 11:35, 6 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

All images uploaded to wikipedia must be either under a fair use claim or be released udner a free license. To release an image under the GFDL add the words {{GFDL}} to the image description page or select GFDL when first uplaoding the image. Images also must provide a source for example a good image description would look somehgting like:

Photo of someplace that shows something. Taken by [[User:Krestavilis]] in 2001 and released under the GFDL. {{GFDL}}

I will tag your images as missing htis information if you can please add it to the image descriptions and let me knwo I willl remove the tagas before they are deleted. --Martyman-(talk) 03:02, 7 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks a lot for that, your high quality image submissions are much appreciated. The descriptions look fine now. --Martyman-(talk) 20:38, 8 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Notification of automated file description generation

[edit]

Your upload of File:Bau cua ca cop.jpg or contribution to its description is noted, and thanks (even if belatedly) for your contribution. In order to help make better use of the media, an attempt has been made by an automated process to identify and add certain information to the media's description page.

This notification is placed on your talk page because a bot has identified you either as the uploader of the file, or as a contributor to its metadata. It would be appreciated if you could carefully review the information the bot added. To opt out of these notifications, please follow the instructions here. Thanks!
