Brooke Hart article (San Mateo Bridge)

[edit]

Hi, and thanks for your edits. I have essentially reverted them as numerous contemporaneous news sources indicate that Brooke Hart was taken to the San Mateo Bridge. The "new" high-level span was opened in 1967 (and therefore could not be the bridge mentioned), but the 1967 bridge replaced a vertical-lift bridge that had been in operation since 1929. The 1929 bridge must be the one which is mentioned in the news sources. It would be difficult to access the Dumbarton Rail Bridge on the Newark side by a road vehicle.
