Hello, I'm not sure who you are...

[edit]

But I'm pretty sure you're either Professor Clark, Holman-sensei, or someone else closely related to Bunraku Bay. Your picture of Imada's puppet hall is mine. I have the original sitting on my hard drive on the laptop I'm on right now. :)

This is Rob by the way. Feel free to steal more of my photos, but if you use them please try to remember to credit me for them. Not like it's a big deal or anything I guess. This is just wikipedia.

If you'd like more photos of performances at Tonda or whatever I have plenty. They're higher pixel quality and have better light conditions. I may upload them to Wikipedia at some point but only if I'm bored enough.

If this is Holman-sensei, I applaud your efforts to try and actually create something interesting out of the cesspool of strangeness that is Wikipedia. When the article for Lightsaber Combat is longer than the article on Modern Combat you know your priorities may be a little messed up.

License tagging for Image:Oyako20061.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Oyako20061.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 05:09, 7 April 2007 (UTC)

Your edits on Bunraku

[edit]

Hi. I just wanted to drop by and thank you for your contributions to the bunraku article, and to related subjects. Japanese traditional theatre is woefully under-represented here on the 'pedia, and it's great to have some helping hands, especially from someone as knowledgable and passionate as your edits would indicate. I would encourage you, if you're interested, to take a look at WikiProject Japan and WikiProject Theatre and consider signing up as a member of the collaborative/cooperative community. Also, if you're so inclined, you might want to consider making a user page, so that other users might have some idea who you are and what you're interested in. In any case, welcome to Wikipedia, and I hope to see you around more in the future! LordAmeth 05:01, 10 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Duplicate images uploaded

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Oshichiwiki.jpg. A machine-controlled robot account noticed that you also uploaded the same image under the name Image:Oschichiwiki.jpg. The copy called Image:Oschichiwiki.jpg has been marked for speedy deletion since it is redundant. If this sounds okay to you, there is no need for you to take any action.

This is an automated message- you have not upset or annoyed anyone. In the future, you may save yourself some confusion if you supply a meaningful file name and remember exactly which name you chose (file names are case sensitive, including the extension) so that you won't lose track of your uploads. For tips on good file naming, see Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions about this notice, or feel that the deletion is inappropriate, please contact User:Staecker, who operates the robot account. Staeckerbot 13:47, 1 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Kuroda Puppet Troupe - Good Article!

[edit]

Hi. That is one great article you've done there. It could do with some reference or citations though. Are you going to put some in, or shall I pop a tag on the article as unreferenced at the moment? Again, good Job. Pedro |  Chat  14:30, 25 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use disputed for Image:DancingGirlofIzu.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:DancingGirlofIzu.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our Criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 23:24, 13 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Unspecified source for Image:Oshichicrop1.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Oshichicrop1.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, then you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, then their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 17:46, 25 October 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Wikidudeman (talk) 17:46, 25 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Image Copyright problem
Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading Image:PalmHandStoriesFSG.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Jusjih (talk) 00:27, 26 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (Image:DancingGirlofIzu.jpg)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:DancingGirlofIzu.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 12:06, 16 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
