Welcome! I don't have much to say...

Due to the way this is set up, everything gets newer as it goes down. For some odd reason, you'll see the oldest stuff first. Enjoy!! Ardo 04:47, 29 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Eye photo

[edit]

Hello there, of the blue and green eye(s). I just changed the caption on your recently added photo of your eye. What's blue and green is the iris, not the retina. We don't see the retina, except that that is what we see in redeye in some flash pictures. I also changed blue/green to blue and green, as at a glance your version looked like bluegreen which is a color, IMO. Cheers! --Hordaland (talk) 15:08, 14 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Right. Iris, i knew that. You think the placement is okay? It seems weird that the image of a cataract is placed second. In the article about humans the second picture isn't a human with polio. Thanks so much! Ard0 (Talk - Contribs) 16:59, 14 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for uploading Image:Maple logo.png. You've indicated that the image is being used under a claim of fair use, but you have not provided an adequate explanation for why it meets Wikipedia's requirements for such images. In particular, for each page the image is used on, the image must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Can you please check

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for each article the image is used in.
  • That every article it is used on is linked to from its description page.

Image Use

[edit]

Hi Ardo,

Yes, you're welcome to use my pics of hospitals/medical centres, as long as you credit me (e.g. "Photo by Robert Thivierge" put somewhere). I appreciate the fact you let me know of the use, even though legally you didn't have to for GFDL or Creative Commons.

As for sports photography, unfortunately, my camera and skills don't support it. If I go to a sporting thing, it's likely to just take pictures of people standing still, preferably outside (e.g. during an award ceremony). BTW, is there a web link to the "2009 Alberta Open at the Oval" you mentioned, as I can't find anything on Google? --Rob (talk) 16:55, 4 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

NowCommons: Image:Olympic Oval.JPG

[edit]

Image:Olympic Oval.JPG is now available on Wikimedia Commons as Commons:Image:Olympic Oval.jpg. This is a repository of free media that can be used on all Wikimedia wikis. The image will be deleted from Wikipedia, but this doesn't mean it can't be used anymore. You can embed an image uploaded to Commons like you would an image uploaded to Wikipedia, in this case: [[Image:Olympic Oval.jpg]]. Note that this is an automated message to inform you about the move. This bot did not copy the image itself. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 12:02, 23 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Top my Top Secret ($$$$$$$$$$$$$$.00)

[edit]

Hello sorry for the blank page.

To whom it may concern I have been trying for quite a while to get intelligent people with commen sense to listen and see the cure. Are there any still out there. Maybe no one understand the meaning of the word cure for diseases ie. Cancer, Parkinson, MS, AS, AR, Alzheimer just to named a few Man Made Diseases. Cure found for Man Made Chemical Toxics and Synthetic Food Diseases. Anyone interested? No? Everybody wants to stay and be full of Diseases and Miserable for life. Out of the box Serious thinker and dedicated Individual required to learn and to help in educating and curing our World(greed people do not need to respond)starting with our children.

God and I are looking for serious and very good workers. I don't asked for anything but health and happiness for all Humans.

Thank you for reading US. next step I will be going to the Canadian Capital of Glowing People Sarnia Ontario to see, talk and heal children and adults who wants their body and mind the way God created.

P.S. God is perfect and you are too! his creation. NO,God loves you very much and created you with spare parts, rusted metal and chemicals ;moreover God had no eyes, no balls and half a brain with fat and cholesterol, sorry man. God said "I love you" and kick your ass out on the street "Good luck my favorite human and stand stong. I bet he won't forget me now! LOL

One of God's Creations

And I forgot to say "Yes I am crazy but healthy and not like the Good for Humans Institutions" LOL. The Human Metabolism does not required any Crude oil, glue, silicon, wood filler or Crude oil Super Vitamins and minerals or 80% World Synthetic Food owner (not Food)Monsanto's GE and GMO Food, Crops and animal, RBST, Splenda, Aspartam, Sucralose=Chemicals100% Pfiezer BioChemical World institution and Japan MSG or Malboro Kraft Tobaco/food giant "ZERO". It is not a car or dead plastic! Humans are still very much alive, the most sophiscated space suit and armor ever designed by God. We just don't know how it works because of errornous data made in our evolutionist Sciences. The foundation of Medecin stand on the biggest mistake ever made by a human. It is impossible to find a cure without proper balance like in a real life. Bacteria is not a cell!!!!! The normal body temp is not 96 degree either. I have 49 years of research I guess you can call me something crazy like the back-up Einstein, Wisdom Man, Nostradamus, Genius or just One of God's Creations. All the glory, wisdom and intelligence belongs to my Father our Creator. Institutions are feeding 99%Chemical Food, Universal Law You need one chemical to break another one. How many more useless chemical cures do we have to go through. We eat, drink and wear chemicals and hope to find a chemical cure for global warming. It first starts with healthy humans. Isn't it big enough? 2% of 6 Billion humans have understood the other universal Health LAW Chemical BURNS AND HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH LIFE you will surely die if you eat LAVA Byproducts. Who said shortage of petroleum !last time I check the fouls said volcanos are the end of the Humans, Gama Ray from space and meteors, Cern had a better chance at making the expensive useles DisneyLand Ride in Swizerland then traveling in their underwears. The older I get the more I realize the amount of wasted time covering up man mistakes and letting the people that makes them rich pay for their greed and incompetences.

Where I sit there is no stupid story about the north, south poles and glaciers melting away. The carbon level in the atmosphere is not a problem very easy to repair if there was ever a problem with God's creations. I travel and study the world and everything is blooming and beautiful. You can not kill life it always get away and multiply. God creates eternity and perfection for Human to destroyed I GUESS that's the message. Everyone is following The Man's Tree of knowledge of no good and more evil. Humans are slaved of our own institutions and nobody knows where to start. Really big mess because someone was in a hurry to find a cure or greed.

I don't expect any reply anymore... Human seems to be happy with their diseases. Who's goal is that?

{{Helpme}}

Hi, you didn't ask a question. What is your question? — neuro(talk) 23:10, 26 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I'm looking to have a series of personal attacks investigated and the IP address blocked/banned. How would one go about this? I need an admin's help. Ard0 (Talk - Contribs) 23:11, 26 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Well, what is the IP in question, and where are the personal attacks? — neuro(talk) 23:13, 26 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Attacks are on my User page, my talk page, and userboxes page. UBXs are linked via the user page under "Click here to see userboxes". The IP is 75.155.13.9. Ard0 (Talk - Contribs) 23:15, 26 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry, until the IP does it again the IP will not be blocked because your request is stale. Users are not blocked as a punitive measure (as punishment), they are only blocked to prevent further disruption, which is not currently eminating from that IP. If such a situation reoccurs, bring it up again. :) — neuro(talk) 23:21, 26 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Okay. Thanks Neuro. Ard0 (Talk - Contribs) 23:25, 26 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
No problem. Anything else, just drop me a line. :) — neuro(talk) 23:31, 26 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. New deal for page patrollers

[edit]

Hi Ardo191,

In order to better control the quality of new pages, keep out the spam, and welcome the genuine newbies, the current system we introduced in 2011 is being updated and improved. The documentation and tutorials have also been revised and given a facelift. Most importantly a new user group New Page Reviewer has been created.

Under the new rule, you may find that you are temporarily unable to mark new pages as reviewed. However, this is nothing to worry about - most current experienced patrollers are being accorded the the new right without the need to apply, and if you have significant previous experience of patrolling new pages, we strongly encourage you to apply for the new right as soon as possible - we need all the help we can get, and we are now providing a dynamic, supportive environment for your work.

Find out more about this exiting new user right now at New Page Reviewers and be sure to read the new tutorial before applying. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 04:28, 13 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article Maple Skate has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Small and now-defunct skate manufacturer. There are no references currently in the article, and upon searches, the only things I was able to find outside of brief mentions was a couple of articles about its closure.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.Rorshacma (talk) 16:03, 13 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
