USRD Inactivity check and news report
[edit]Hello, Andy 1One. We had a few urgent matters to communicate to you:
- Please update your information at Wikipedia:WikiProject U.S. Roads/Participants, our new centralized participant list. Those who have not done so by October 20th will be removed.
- There are important discussions taking place at WT:USRD relating to whether WP:USRD, WP:HWY, or the state projects should hold the "power" in the roads projects.

Invitation
[edit]Hello. You may have seen that some Wikipedia articles lack sources to given dates, timelines and chronologies.
If you feel that you could like to help in making all articles more reliable and well sourced in this regard, we would like to encourage you to use, as part of your daily editing and when {{fact}} is not enough for requesting clearly and specifically a citation or source for dates, timeline or chronology, the following inline tag:
- {{Timefact}} displays {chronology source needed} for requesting timelines, dates and chronology sources. Click here for more information
At WP Timeline Tracer, we thank you for using these tools and for helping to make Wikipedia articles more accurate and reliable.

NYSR participants list
[edit]As discussed at WT:USRD, the participants list at WP:USRD is being split by state. Since your name has multiple states listed next to it, the designation "NY" has been removed from the large USRD-wide table, and your name has been added to the NY-specific table. This is part of the lengthy process. If this is in error, please let me know immediately. Regards, Rschen7754 (T C) 04:49, 18 May 2008 (UTC)

Proposal for standard infobox for History of [country] templates
[edit][moved from Andy 1One:User talk:Andy 1One by Icewedge]
Hi there! You're a member of WikiProject History, so I'm just informing you about a proposal I've made about standardizing History of [country] templates (like Template:History of France). The discussion is located at the talk page for WikiProject History—your comments and criticism are welcome. Thank you. Mr. Absurd (talk) 05:02, 25 July 2008 (UTC)
Re: County Route 97 (Rockland County, New York)
[edit]I disagree. The County Route was once a significant Harriman State Park route, as indicated by the history section of the article. –Juliancolton Tropical Cyclone 22:17, 26 January 2009 (UTC)
- As co-author of that, I know well enough that it has more history. It is in a book, I just need to get the book, again. Please withdraw your AFD.Mitch32(Go Syracuse) 22:36, 26 January 2009 (UTC)
- Hey Andy, what brought you to CR 97? We should just merge it back as I stated on the AfD page. --Airtuna08 (talk) 23:52, 26 January 2009 (UTC)
- Hello again, I've been inactive for awhile, and I see CR 97 already exists on the main page. I'm in full support of a merge and deletion of a separate page unless for some reason Wiki supports every route having its own page. Obviously they won't, so lets merge any information not already on the main list. That makes things simple. Can we compromise with that? --Airtuna08 (talk) 23:55, 26 January 2009 (UTC)
OK, well if you could post that in the AfD that would be great. Thanks! Where are you from? What roads are you interested in? --Airtuna08 (talk) 00:04, 27 January 2009 (UTC)
I see you did it already, thanks! --Airtuna08 (talk) 00:05, 27 January 2009 (UTC)
- I object, it is not done, and apparently incompleteness is being ignored. Lemme get the book requested from the highway and I'll finish it.Mitch32(Go Syracuse) 00:48, 27 January 2009 (UTC)
Merge is complete... --BurpTheBaby (Talk) 16:13, 31 January 2009 (UTC)
Are you going to create that? –Juliancolton Tropical Cyclone 22:35, 26 January 2009 (UTC)
Hello, Andy 1One. You are receiving this message because you are listed on the participant list of WP:NYSR. I am conducting an inactivity check on behalf of the project to see if the project still has an active editor base. The status column on the participant list will be cleared today, and to remain a listed member of the project, you must update your status on the participant list (preferably using the terms "Active", "Semi-active", or "Inactive") which is located here. Those who do not update their status after one week (by the night of June 25) and those who put inactive as their status will be removed from the list. If you have any questions, please leave a message on my talk page or at the "A smorgasbord of topics" section on WT:NYSR. Thank you for your understanding and your time. – TMF 12:27, 18 June 2009 (UTC)

WikiProject Elections and Referendums article tagging
[edit]Hi Andy. Sorry to have to post directly on your talk page, but you may have noticed (on the WP:Elections and referendums talk page) that I am trying to get all the election and referendum articles tagged for the project. Unfortunately this is not making any progress, as people are claiming there is no consensus to do this, as no-one has responded on the Project talk page. Could you possibly comment on the proposal at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Elections and Referendums#Bot to tag articles for the WikiProject, as I'm getting rather frustrated by the attitude of the people at WP:BTR. Cheers, Number 57 12:43, 20 August 2014 (UTC)
