cities only, but has spread its infection among the neighbouring villages and country. Nevertheless, it still seems possible to restrain its progress."

The Dope

[edit]

The one and only, Rebel At. The username is derived from one of my first callsigns on the internet, going back to around 1990 on Prodigy (ISP). I'm currently a graduate of the University of Arkansas with an Master of the Arts in History and thus, am only occasionally obsessed with the wonder of Wikipedia with concern to historical topics (otherwise, I'm just addicted). My focus tends towards East Asia, such as China and Japan, as well as American history. However, I have a general interest in most areas of the subject of history.

From February through July, 2007, I worked as a tour guide at the United States Capitol. This job, besides instilling with me a good knowledge of the building and its history, also provided me the drive to create articles to make up for what I saw as a deficiency in knowledge. I hope that with the work I have done and intend to do, I have laid open more knowledge and fact about the building than was present before my activities.
