I am Timothy Titus, a semi-retired editor on the English Wikipedia, active for 16 years from September 2006 to September 2022. I have not left the project, but have now considerably reduced my involvement, due to other demands. When here, I try to improve the grammar of articles on all topics, but I also bring a measure of expertise to articles on subjects including railways, Christianity, Freemasonry, world travel, and education. Like many editors, I also like to tinker with the articles concerning places I have lived (I move quite often, due to my work), and organisations of which I have been a member (quite a few, as I am a 'joiner'). As at January 2021 I had made over 12,700 edits to the English Wikipedia (and over 13,100 globally), and I was the project's 7,643rd most prolific editor.
I have also visited the Republic of Užupis, though bizarrely Wikipedia does not provide a flag icon for this fine nation (perhaps because its flag changes seasonally).
Target countries
I hope to visit these countries and self-governing territories soon (circumstances permitting):
I hope to complete the Continent of Europe shortly. I have visited every nation in the European Continent, including sovereign states, autonomous jurisdictions, and de facto nations, with the exception of Albania and Turkey. I have enjoyed visiting the rich variety of landscapes and cultures across Europe, and have discovered that I have a particular attraction to the culture of the Nordic and Baltic states of northern Europe.
Sovereign State - UN recognised independent nations (eg France, Poland, Andorra).
Autonomous jurisdictions - countries or regions with their own parliament (eg Scotland, Crimea, Jersey, Aland).
De facto nations - disputed territories that are nonetheless very clearly independent countries in all practical senses (eg Transnistria, Northern Cyprus).
I should have given this to you in the first place, but better late than never! Police,Mad,Jack (talk·contribs)☺ 08:34, 29 January 2009 (UTC)
The Barnstar of Diligence
For your many hours spent watching old episodes of Hill Street Blues, to bring precise detail to the wikipedia article, identify all the precincts, highlight character promotions, expand the character lists, and enter almost all the episode plot guides - well done. The Railway Barnstar
Thanks for raising my interest in trains - as well as your work on trains articles on Wikipedia, especially the narrow-gauge world. Chris Golds (talk) 10:58, 9 February 2016 (UTC)
The Editor's Barnstar
Thank you - it was a poor draft and now its a great article. Thank you for just jumping it and adding corrections and quality to Edith Langridge. Thanks again Victuallers (talk) 08:14, 26 October 2020 (UTC)
