Yutog Yontan Gonpo (Tibetan: གཡུ་ཐོག་ཡོན་ཏན་མགོན་པོ, traditionally 708 – 833)[1][better source needed], also known as Yuthog Yontan Gonpo the Elder (Tibetan: གཡུ་ཐོག་རྙིང་མ་ཡོན་ཏན་མགོན་པོ), was an 8th-century high lama and a physician of Tibet.
He should be distinguished from Yuthok Yontan Gompo the Younger who lived in the 12th century.
