Yoga pants are a type of flexible, form-fitting pant designed for the practice of yoga. These pants are generally made of cotton, or a light and stretchy synthetic material.^[1] They are usually black with an elastic waistband folded over at the top. Although designed specifically for yoga they are often worn for exercise in general, usually by women.^[1] Additionally yoga pants can be worn as casual clothing or maternity-ware, although it is debated whether they are an appropriate choice for work.^[1]^[2]
