Ideas for improving karate articles?

[edit]

I have suggestions on things that need improving on if anyone is interested the first suggestion is many Karate organisations only have basic information or little or no supporting third person sources a few examples are Deutscher JKA-Karate Bund, Shōtōkai, JKA England and Karate Union of Great Britain either put third person sources or it should be deleted.

Articles about the 1966 European Karate Championships to 1999 European Karate Championships have missing medal winners so if third person info to confirm they won specific medals. The same can be said of 1977 World Karate Championships to 1988 World Karate Championships.

When it comes to medal winners to karate competition to competitions such as European Karate Championships and World Karate Championships where wiki articles have been created such as Sari Laine, Guusje van Mourik and Wayne Otto and try expand on the articles. @Dwanyewest: thanks for these, these would be perfect for listing on the 'to do' section of the page (see WP:WikiProject Karate. If you are interested in contributing would you mind adding your name in support at the proposal page? I'm trying to get at least 6-10 editors to sign up to show that there is interest before moving forward with the project. WP:WikiProject Council/Proposals/Wikipedia:WikiProject Karate
