Hey Jessica. Hope you are doing well. Do you have an article in mind that you would like to work on. I am pretty much up for any of them but I am kind of leaning towards working on the article for ribonucleotide. I think that article needs much improvement and I am sure theres quite a lot of sources available out there for us to utilize. In addition to that, I think its quite a pivotal topic in the case of molecular biology, so that idea of us saying that we had contributed that specific topic is pretty neat. Please let me know what you think as I'd like to hear your input. Thanks. - Binhtruong (talk) 07:51, 3 March 2013 (UTC)
- Hi Binh, I hope you're doing well too. I was thinking of doing an article on either Oskar or Restriction site but I am up to do the article for Ribonucleotide as well. I think we can really expand on the article since the article currently only states the definition. And yes, I also agree that there are many sources out there that we can use since ribonucleotides are really fundamental in studying molecular biology. I'll go ahead and claim the article if you don't mind. Also, do you know if we each have to write the article selection rationale summary or do we both write one summary? If we are only writing one summary, how do you think we should go about doing that? Thanks! Jessicalau90 (talk) 07:51, 5 March 2013 (UTC)
- Ok. I am going to claim Ribonucleotides as our topic, although Oskar would be a good selection too. Lets stick with our first choice since there's unlimited resources available for it. In regards to the 200 word summary, I'm not sure if its an individual entry or a group entry. Ill get in contact Dr. Ogg and will get back to you. -Binhtruong (talk) 19:48, 5 March 2013 (UTC)
- Thanks for posting the question on the wiki discussion page. I received your email and have posted the summary onto our group page, but please feel free to make any more edits on the group page directly just in case I don't get to my email in time. Jessicalau90 (talk) 08:17, 6 March 2013 (UTC)
- Hi Binh, I just got started on the preliminary outline and finding more references for it. I had a little bit of trouble finding references since most of them were on ribonucleotide reductase which I believe would be another topic. Also, for the outline, I just have it in bullet points but I'll try to format it using the manual of style. Jessicalau90 (talk) 19:17, 13 March 2013 (UTC)
- Hi Binh, I started typing out the final progress report. Please feel free to add anything that I have missed. Thank you!! Jessicalau90 (talk) 11:32, 9 May 2013 (UTC)
