Special page embedding
[edit]When embedding this list of users in an article (for example), can extra parameters be defined, like how many to display or what user group to display etc? --62.65.229.71 (talk) 17:08, 4 June 2014 (UTC)
- Just in case anyone wants to know an answer to this. You can display a specific user group by writing {{Special:ListUsers/<group-name>}}. E.g., {{Special:ListUsers/sysop}}. You can make the list starts at a username via {{Special:ListUsers/<start-name>}}. E.g., {{Special:ListUsers/Nullzero}}. You can also specify both starting name and group name. E.g., {{Special:ListUsers/sysop/N}}. The last form provides a way to specify a starting name that is the same as a group name: something like {{Special:ListUsers/user/sysop}}. AFAIK, it's not possible to limit number of items to display. --Nullzero (talk) 04:43, 1 December 2019 (UTC)
- On this topic of embedding a list of users on a page via template, is there anyway to just get a raw list without all the linking? Oak Island Kid (talk) 21:34, 25 August 2021 (UTC)
