This article is not well-developed or thorough meaning that it excludes a lot of necessary details. In addition, the article contains information that is not “commonly” known and does not provide in-text citations nor a list of references. However, it does provide in-text links which help the reader better understand article content. For example, links which direct the reader to other Wiki articles contain additional information about each protein of the histone octamer and are noticeably provided. In addition to its lack of development, the article needs images of the structures or other figures which would convey details within the article. There are no suggestions provided on the article’s talk page on how to improve the article but, with the article being rated at Stub-Class, improvements are fairly apparent.

This article needs a lot more development. Information in Wikipedia articles should be presented in a manner that is original or minimally paraphrased. However, since this article lacks in-text-citations and a list of references, the originality of wording and sentence structure cannot be verified. Another reason that a list of references is need is because the information contained within this article is not common knowledge. Including examples which is a suggestion on the article’s talk page would help the reader to have a better understanding of the content. The article also lacks images, charts, tables, and other figures which would greatly help with alleviating some of the complexity of this topic.

This article only contains the basic definition of a cell-cell interaction. It vaguely mentions a couple of examples of these intereactions but it does not go into sufficient detail. A reader would gain practically no helpful information from this page. It has no diagrams or images. It does use in line citation correctly, however, there is only one.

This page is all over the place. It briefly mentions severally different things about genotyping but it does not describe them in enough detail. I also think it is too broad. For example, this may not be the place to discuss transgenic organisms. This page needs to be more finely focused with more background information and detail. In line citations are used but there are not nearly enough references.

There are several reasons why our group chose the article Cell-cell interaction. It is a broad and well-studied topic which makes literature (secondary sources) on this subject more accessible and easier to find. The vast amount of literature available allows one to present information in a way most helpful to the reader. Because the page doesn’t already have a defined structure, it will allow our group to choose how information will be presented and make decisions on what subtopics can be described in more detail than others. We will be able to discuss not just basic cell-cell interactions but also different types which can range from those associated with the immune system to those that play a role in the propagation of diseases such as cancer. Because of this, it will also be easy to divide up the work into subtopics for each of us to work on. In other words, this article makes it ideal for editing because it is basically a blank canvas. In addition, because this article only includes a very general definition, we won’t have to take too much concern into adding around edits made by other individuals. Lastly, images for this topic can be used to effectively support concepts within the text while, for other topics that are more abstract in nature, it may be more challenging to do so.
