This is a template made for 1964 Pacific typhoon season. However, this template is unneeded, and consists of original research ("ID" stands for "investigated depressions", which is not an official term, and is not the same as "invest"). The template is also orphaned. --Coredesat talk! 17:43, 26 September 2006 (UTC)
- Delete per nom. The OR here is really bad - it's a made-up designation for storms the user has no idea about and is "investigating", making this template unencyclopedic as well. – Chacor 17:50, 26 September 2006 (UTC)
- "made-up designation for storms the user has no idea about". What the heck do you mean?! I'm trying to adjust to the JTWC archives for one thing. That was an unnescessary comment.HurricaneCraze32 aka Mitchazenia 12:28, 27 September 2006 (UTC)
- There is no such thing as an "investigated tropical depression", that term you used is made up. "Storm the user has no idea about" referring to systems you have no information on - but that's not a reason to add it to the template. – Chacor 12:31, 27 September 2006 (UTC)
- Ok, i came up with the name, i'll fix it if you want. The JTWC has no information except their formation date and dissipation date. 2W,11W,26W,40W & 52W are all the regular depressions that existed.
- 6W,16W,23W,28W,31W,42W,47W and 50W are the investigated ones-totaling to 52 depressions.HurricaneCraze32 aka Mitchazenia 12:37, 27 September 2006 (UTC)
- All fixed-all 9 ID's have become TD's and if you highlight it, it says tropical depression.HurricaneCraze32 aka Mitchazenia 12:44, 27 September 2006 (UTC)
- Well, the point is that it really isn't needed. The normal TOC is enough. – Chacor 12:49, 27 September 2006 (UTC)
