Delete Template:Scottish consituencies is unused and is redundant to the expanded and widely used Template:Scottish Parliament. Also, delete the unused redirect Template:Scottish Parliament constituencies and regions. Bob 22:27, 11 September 2006 (UTC)
- Replace in all articles with Template:Scottish Parliament. Then delete. Canæn 06:18, 12 September 2006 (UTC)

This template is inert (no transcluded content) and inactive (no discussion for months). It's hiding on a bunch of policy pages, totally forgotten. Every so often someone notices it on a page and hoofs it off. Even the template creator does not transclude it or link to it in his user space. May as well put it out of its misery. 192.75.48.150 18:53, 11 September 2006 (UTC)
- Move to Userspace, then Delete from WP Pages Cluttering policy pages with a hidden template is probably not good. However, the points and discussion this user makes should not be forgotten and need to be kept for historical reasons. Electrawn 21:42, 11 September 2006 (UTC)
- Comment: Electrawn states that "the points and discussion this user makes should not be forgotten and need to be kept for historical reasons". Anyone know where that discussion went? :-) The template talk page is a collection of endless loops and the Village Pump page that everyone keeps linking to doesn't appear to exist (anymore?). --DragonHawk 04:21, 12 September 2006 (UTC)
- Comment: http://wiki.riteme.site/w/index.php?title=Wikipedia:Village_pump_%28policy%29/Archive&oldid=53075126 . That took some diggin! Electrawn 04:31, 12 September 2006 (UTC)
- Comment: Thanks, Electrawn! For the convenience of others, here is an link to the section. Based on my reading of that archive, I'd agree and support the move to userspace. --DragonHawk 19:04, 12 September 2006 (UTC)

- Userfy and detransclude Why is this transcluded invisibly on lots of policies? It looks like the sort of thing that ought to be userfied somewhere, I'm just not sure where; maybe it should be placed in the VPP archives instead... --ais523 12:40, 12 September 2006 (UTC)
- Comment: The VPP archives (as linked above) already contain everything, including the proposed 50 item listbox. 192.75.48.150 18:37, 12 September 2006 (UTC)
- Redundant with CAT:POL and CAT:G, and not very helpful, so delete. >Radiant< 20:46, 12 September 2006 (UTC)
- Userfy - it has meaning, but is mostly treated like garbage. --Gray Porpoise 20:50, 13 September 2006 (UTC)
- Userfy and detransclude --Quiddity 00:35, 15 September 2006 (UTC)
- Userfy and detransclude per above. I think it's a cool template (I only just discovered it!) But it's not much good if it's invisible. Grandmasterka 09:15, 15 September 2006 (UTC)
- Userfy per above commentors. Ansell 01:32, 17 September 2006 (UTC)

Template doesn't seem to serve any useful purpose. If I am reading it correctly, it's checking the contents of MediaWiki:Sitenotice. If the value is "-", it inserts the page title into this area. I'm not quite sure what the point is though. I've left a message on the author's talk page asking them about it, but have not had any response. The template is currently in use by 17 articles. - Delete Having had experience with the now-TfDd {{title}} (now userfied to {{User:1ne/Title}}, this is a bad thing on articles. What it does is to overwrite the title of an article with a changed version so that the header appears different (see my user page, for instance, whose title appears to say 'User:ais523', even though technically speaking my username starts with a capital A). In the past consensus was to allow this sort of thing only on userpages, not on articles (consensus was at this TfD). The only reason this isn't horribly breaking pages at the moment for users with non-Monobook skins is the Wikimedia voting sitenotice and the fact that {{Beginwithlowercase}} doesn't actually work (because the sitenotice never is -). --ais523 10:38, 11 September 2006 (UTC)
- Delete per ais523. This template isn't ready for use in articles. Christopher Parham (talk) 14:48, 11 September 2006 (UTC)
- Depreciate, use/redirect articles to {{lowercase}}, THEN Delete Serves a useful purpose, just doesn't work in pratice. Don't break 17 articles. Electrawn 21:52, 11 September 2006 (UTC)
- Delete yep, its a variant of the title template. Where appropreate and not already done, replace with {{lowercase}}. If the title template was TfDed, this is just a specialized case of the title template, and a sort of recreation of deleted content in the template space. Kevin_b_er 19:47, 13 September 2006 (UTC)
