• {{Infobox television episode}} — used for an episode or special of a television show.
• {{Infobox advertising}} — used for a television advertisement.

People

• {{Infobox person}} — used for a person of any profession.
• {{Infobox awards list}} — used for an actor's list of awards.

Channels, stations and networks

Additionally, any of these parameters can be added to the banner on the article's talk to request the addition of missing material:

• |needs-infobox=yes: for articles that are lacking an infobox
• |needs-production=yes: for articles that are lacking a production section
• |needs-character=yes: for articles that need a character (fiction) or cast (non-fiction) section added or expanded
• |needs-response=yes: for articles needing a response section
• |needs-episode-list=yes: for articles needing an episode list added or cleaned up
• |needs-synopsis=yes: for articles needing a plot summary (fiction) or format overview (non-fiction)

Note: Most TV-related images are copyrighted, and are required to follow the non-free content guidelines and policy, or they will be deleted.

Upcoming television

Everything needs to be verifiable through official sources (for instance press releases), and rumours should be immediately removed from articles.

Stub templates

There are quite a lot of stub templates for TV related articles. The highest level stub that can be used is {{Tv-stub}} for anything television related, but it is prefererred to use a more detailed stub that adds country and type (actor/tv-prog/episode etc.).

Television technology templates

• {{TV resolution}} — inserts a graph of the various TV resolutions in existence.
• {{North American DTV}} — inserts a list of articles relating to the ATSC digital television rollout in North America.

Citation

• {{Episode needed}} — for requesting a television episode citation in an article.
• {{Cite episode}} — for citing a television episode in an article.
