The following gives an overview of pages dealing with the romanization conventions for various languages in Wikipedia articles.
Conventional spelling is preferred for article titles
[edit]If an entity has a widely accepted conventional English name, that name is to be used. For example, Wikipedia does not transliterate Москва as Moskva, but uses "Moscow". For more information, see Wikipedia: Naming conventions (use English); this, and the individual conventions cited below, are generally consensus among Wikipedians, and the central ideas, summarized in Wikipedia:Article titles, are policy.
