WikiProject Mesoamerica welcomes all interested contributors, and there are no knowledge pre-requisites other than a willingness to help out. You may add your signature to the list below. Optionally, under the "Participants by speciality" section, you can also briefly describe any particular areas of interest or expertise you may have, or other ways in which you'd like to contribute. If you are a student participating in a Wikipedia-based class assignment, please add your signature under the "Student participants" section (you can move it to another section if you'd like to be identified as a regular participant).

Optionally, you can add the template {{User WP Mesoamerica}} to your Userpage to identify yourself as a Project participant. This will automatically assign category:WikiProject Mesoamerica participants to your Userpage.

  • cjllw —particularly Maya archaeology, epigraphy, history and scholarship, but also pan-regional history and interrelations
  • Matwat22 —I know a bit about the Taino and Columbus conflict (if that will help)
  • Marskell—Would also like to improve coverage of the historic Maya civilization. Amateur interest but I'll do my best.
  • Eluchil404 —Amateur knowledge of Maya history, language, and epigraphy. Am interested in standardizing the articles on Maya states and ajawob.
  • Rawhead—Maya/Mesoamerican archaeology.
  • Infrogmation Maya archaeology, iconography, history of exploration and research. (Note: since my home town of New Orleans experienced the worst disaster to hit a U.S. city in the last 99 & 1/2 years, I have been prioritizing my Wikimedia time towards those subjects. I remain very interested in Mesoamerican subjects, but the amount of my Wikipedia energy I'll be devoting to them for a while may vary.)

  • Chunchucmil — Mesoamerican archaeology and anthropology, focusing upon the Northern Maya lowlands. Professional research interests include remote sensing, settlement patterns, and archaeological communications (public outreach) for the Maya area.

Recently have been researching the various theories on where the people of Mesoamerican originally came from. Also studied archeology with Professor Bedal (currently working in Petra), mostly with remote sensing and reconstructive architecture.
