A very similar image is now available on commons as commons:Image:Canadafilm.png, properly crediting the work of the EN version's original uploader. However, the two images are not similar enough for speedy I8 deletion: this image has uncolored bars above and below the flag while the commons version stretches the flag to fill the whole rectangle. I believe the commons version is preferable and the one here should be deleted to make way for it. David Eppstein 02:37, 16 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The image runs counter to the information here: Wikipedia:WikiProject Comics/copyright#Images which cannot be "fair use" and the underlying principle of not using material copied from existing encyclopedias and encyclopedia-like works.
