Uploaded by Sean WI (notify). Likely to be an OR logo after the AFD of Pizza Pit. King of 00:00, 24 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Uploaded by Heran et Sang'gres (notify). CV. Source used is a blog, which is almost certainly not the copyright holder. cholmes75 (chit chat) 03:37, 24 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Uploaded by Yom (notify). Has no source information and fair use rationale does not follow fair use guidelines. No proof that image is, as indicated, of "upper Egyptian kids" and someone suggested that they are of Sudanese refugees (see Egypt talk page). Has used the image as a POV-pushing tool on the Egypt article, despite objections in the past about misrepresentation of population. Use of the image has only managed to inflame the situation and create conflict. User is known to do so on Controversy over race of Ancient Egyptians along with user deeceevoice. I removed the deletion tag on the image because, if I understand correctly, such images are not to be listed for deletion for one week. I have provided source information, and the source lists the kids as Egyptian kids (which he said were upper elsewhere, but if you want me to remove that caption, I can just put "Egyptian kids"), as you can see from the file name, but if you'd like, I can show you where the owner of the album says so elsewhere. Please assume good faith, Egyegy. I have not tried to push a POV if you have read my comments on the talk page. I am not at all averse to the inclusion of other images of Egyptians. I do, however, feel, that the image will allow the Demographics section of the Egypt article to better demonstrate Egypt's diversity. That it has created conflict, by the way, is not a rationale for its deletion. I don't know where you get that I'm "known to to do so [create conflict]" on Controversy over race of Ancient Egyptians. I have actually contributed to that article minimally and only attempted to act as a mediator (e.g. when there was a 20+ revert-fest), as the article has often been too POV in the afro-centric direction (see e.g. my comments to Zaph about my inclusion of the POV tag).
Again, can someone clear up the policy for me? I've always seen Orphanbot say that untagged Images have a week before they can be deleted, while this one is tagged but disputed, which wouldn't make sense to be able to be deleted even earlier. Also, I'm in the process of changing the tag (see the image and related talk pages. If I get permission from the creator to use the image, what tag would it go under? With regards to objections (in the past? I addressed them when they came up!) about representing the Egyptian population, I believe I have made it clear in the talk page that it is not to represent the population of Egypt as a whole, but simply to represent a particular section of the Egyptian population and its diversity. Also, Zerida's suggestion that it is of refugees doesn't hold prevalence over the creator's description (Egyptian kids, specifying elsewhere online). — ዮም (Yom) | contribsTalk 08:15, 24 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Please delete. The owner of the site informed me that it is not his image, but that it is from his friends website, which I cannot find right now. I will re-upload it if I can find the original author. — ዮም (Yom) | contribsTalk 19:46, 24 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Keep - I've uploaded a smaller version with better (I hope) quality. GIF is still better supported than PNG/SVG for some time, this has only three colours. Of course keep also the SVG. -- Omniplex 18:25, 25 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Delete obsolete, redundant and unused. Unless you are using a browser that is 10 years out of date the following should display just fine: , there are some PNG transparency bugs in IE 6 yes, but there is no transparency in this particular image so that is a moot point here. --Sherool (talk) 10:08, 28 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Uploaded by Bbsrock (notify). CV. Obviously a copyrighted photo. Currently only used in a user page. No fair use criteria. cholmes75 (chit chat) 22:21, 24 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Uploaded by Bbsrock (notify). CV. Tagged as a press photo, which is likely. But there is no copyright info, and the source is Tripod of all places. cholmes75 (chit chat) 22:26, 24 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
