Reason: I've spent many hours trying to get a Pink Robin photo. They are shy birds and don't usually make any noise so are difficult to spot. The photo was taken in very technically challenging conditions (1/10 sec wide open at iso 1600). This is to be expected for a temperate rainforest bird. I'm told we can expect a DYK for the relevant article at some point. This is the only image we have of the species. I think the image is aesthetically appealing too.
