This is a collection of discussions on the deletion of articles related to Poland. It is one of many deletion lists coordinated by WikiProject Deletion sorting. Anyone can help maintain the list on this page.
- Adding a new AfD discussion
- Adding an AfD to this page does not add it to the main page at WP:AFD. Similarly, removing an AfD from this page does not remove it from the main page at WP:AFD. If you want to nominate an article for deletion, go through the process on that page before adding it to this page. To add a discussion to this page, follow these steps:
- Edit this page and add {{Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/PageName}} to the top of the list. Replace "PageName" with the relevant article name, i.e. the one on the existing AFD discussion. Also, indicate the title of the article in the edit summary as it is particularly helpful to add a link to the article in the edit summary. When you save the page, the discussion will automatically appear.
- You should also tag the AfD by adding {{subst:delsort|Poland|~~~~}} to it, which will inform editors that it has been listed here. You may place this tag above or below the nomination statement or at the end of the discussion thread.
- There are a few scripts and tools that can make this easier.
- Removing a closed AfD discussion
- Closed AfD discussions are automatically removed by a bot.
- Other types of discussions
- You can also add and remove other discussions (prod, CfD, TfD etc.) related to Poland. For the other XfD's, the process is the same as AfD (except {{Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/PageName}} is used for MFD and {{transclude xfd}} for the rest). For PRODs, adding a link with {{prodded}} will suffice.
- Further information
- For further information see Wikipedia's deletion policy and WP:AfD for general information about Articles for Deletion, including a list of article deletions sorted by day of nomination.
This list is also part of the larger list of deletion debates related to Europe.

Non-notable figure skater; no senior-level medal placements. Bgsu98 (Talk) 08:52, 1 January 2025 (UTC)
- Note: This discussion has been included in the deletion sorting lists for the following topics: Sportspeople, Women, Skating, and Poland. Bgsu98 (Talk) 08:52, 1 January 2025 (UTC)
- Delete: Three sentences of coverage at [[1]], while [[2]] is WP:SIGCOV but appears to lack independence. The corresponding Polish article also has no secondary sources, and without better sourcing the WP:GNG is not met here. Let'srun (talk) 22:16, 3 January 2025 (UTC)

Non-notable figure skater; PROD removed. Bgsu98 (Talk) 22:57, 27 December 2024 (UTC)

- Delete: Subject does not appear to meet the WP:GNG due to a lack of WP:SIGCOV. The only non-database source in the article is a student newspaper from the school the subject attended, and a search for additional sources came up empty. Please ping me if additional secondary sources can be found. Let'srun (talk) 17:46, 28 December 2024 (UTC)
- Comment: Some pretty good coverage here under her nickname. JTtheOG (talk) 21:39, 3 January 2025 (UTC)

The result was delete. I see a rough consensus that the sources do not meet our notability guidelines. Owen× ☎ 14:40, 4 January 2025 (UTC)

- Delete. Prod was removed on technical grounds (article was ineligible for prods). Anyway, I can't find any sources, current referencing is terrible. Does not seem to meet WP:GNG, not all sportspeople are encyclopedic (notable). This is just poorly referenced fan piece of OR on a non-notable person. --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 01:36, 22 December 2024 (UTC)
- Delete - this is the second time that this article has been created and I still can't see any evidence of WP:SIGCOV. The best that I can find is Am-Pol Eagle, if that is a reliable source. We would need more than one source, though. Spiderone(Talk to Spider) 10:25, 22 December 2024 (UTC)
- Keep: The subject easily meets WP:SPORTBASIC with a couple dozen sentences of independent coverage here from The Am-Pol Eagle as well as a profile here from The Press of Atlantic City. JTtheOG (talk) 23:03, 27 December 2024 (UTC)

- Keep: The sources uncovered by JTtheOG appear to contain the needed WP:SIGCOV to meet the WP:GNG as they provide in-depth coverage of the subject. Let'srun (talk) 18:24, 28 December 2024 (UTC)
- Delete, agreed with Spiderone that if the Am-Pol Eagle piece is the best we can find then GNG isn't met. The Press of Atlantic City article fails YOUNGATH, being a local interview with the subject when she was 12. JoelleJay (talk) 04:37, 29 December 2024 (UTC)
- Delete Not noteworthy and fails to meet significant coverage criteria.
