- I just got reminded of the pending Wikidata. We are trying to get interwiki bots shut down are we not?—cyberpower ChatOffline 19:50, 8 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
- I'm told Wikidata is not 100% complete, so the interwiki editing module will need to be re-coded to sense where it has entries and not act on those. MBisanz talk 03:10, 9 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
- But rather than adding those links to EN would it not make more sense to add them to Wikidata? ·Add§hore· Talk To Me! 14:24, 9 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
- That would make more sense. I just don't have a good grasp on how easy it is to add things to Wikidata or how likely they are to complete the en.wiki articles in a reasonable period of time. MBisanz talk 00:21, 13 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
- FYI... With pyrev:11073, any pywikipedia bot should no longer function on English Wikipedia. Bgwhite (talk) 18:32, 14 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

- Denied. Bots should no longer need to add interwiki links onto en.wikipedia but on wikidata instead. ·Add§hore· Talk To Me! 19:18, 14 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
