Global High started in 2007 at the T.C. Wilemon campus which was built in 1917. The first graduate from Global High was Catherine Aulbraugh in 2010 which was her junior year.

It is on of only 35 T-STEM academies. T-STEM stands for Texas science, technology, engineering and mathematics. It is also an Early College High School through Navarro College. You can earn 2 years worth of college credits or an associate’s degree along with your high school diploma. They also offer many project based learning courses such as engineering and technology.
