Talk Pages
Hello, WikiMic,
Do not create talk pages when there is no associated article or those pages will be deleted. If you have questions about editing on Wikipedia, please bring them to the Teahouse. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 05:11, 31 August 2021 (UTC)
I apologise. I was planning on creating the talk page first and then the article but I didn't have time and was going to do the article later. I am sincerely sorry. WikiMic talk 05:12, 1 September 2021 (UTC)
Hi, I've noticed that you have been placing Template:Talk header on several talk pages of redirects. Please note that the template's documentation states that it "may be used on talk pages to attract commentary from inexperienced editors, or where there are high levels of debate from everyone". More importantly, "this template should not be added to otherwise empty talk pages." Please do not add this to talk pages that do not have active discussions on them. Thank you. ✗plicit 03:29, 1 September 2021 (UTC)
I apologise, as I was not informed about how talk pages are maintained. WikiMic talk 05:12, 1 September 2021 (UTC)
Warning
Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively, you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant noticeboards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. You've spammed a lot of pointless edits which wastes the time of volunteers as you’ve been warned long ago. Now stop editing until you understand what an encyclopedia is. You’re just abusing Wikipedia as a toy. — Smuckola(talk) 05:52, 14 October 2021 (UTC)
Woah, woah, woah! Calm down. I'm sorry you didn't like my edit on the declaration of Independence. All those other "warnings" in the past were just small misunderstandings. You don't have to accuse me of "not understanding what an encyclopedia is" because I tried to add a date to the declaration of Independence. WikiMic talk 04:10, 15 October 2021 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nominations
Tags have been placed on Dusty articles and Original Recipe Burger requesting that such articles be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section R3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a recently created redirect from an implausible typo or misnomer, or other unlikely search term.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. - Be sure to only create redirects that make sense, like very likely misspellings. Do not invent improbable terms that are unlikely to be search terms for readers. Again, if you ever have questions about editing on Wikipedia, please visit the Teahouse. It's a very helpful, friendly place to get your questions answered. Liz Read! - I would like the second this. I'm getting complaints about some of your redirect choices, and I agree. Many seem unnecessary or not improvements. You might want to slow down in that content area until you've got a better grasp on it. Sergecross73 msg me 17:56, 5 November 2021 (UTC)
- Well, can you please tell me how to improve then? WikiMic talk 23:27, 11 November 2021 (UTC)
- Absolutely. I think you're having a bit of a hard time really seeing when a redirect is necessary or realistically plausible. There's a bunch of places to read up on that sort of stuff. Do some reading over WP:REDIRECT and the various other help areas it links to within it. WP:RFDOUTCOMES has a lot of guidance over the type of stuff that is typically kept or deleted too. There's a bunch of trick to learn too. For example, WP:RTYPO says that, while typos can be considered appropriate ("lunch tiem"), two or more typos are generally considered not particularly likely ("lucnh tiem"). - Thank you for the advice on plausible redirects. I'll try and improve. WikiMic talk 23:03, 14 November 2021 (UTC)

Please slow down & the Teahouse
Over a few days in the past few months you have made many rapid edits including unnecessary page creations, some of which you have already received warnings for (like spurious talk headers) and redirects that have had to get deleted through the redirects for discussion process, which takes time and effort from other Wikipedians to fix. I would recommend that for now, you should slow down your editing. I understand that you are enthusiastic about editing, and see that you have asked several questions on article talk pages. So, I think you would benefit by checking out the Teahouse, a specific place for new editors to ask questions and get help from from kind and experienced users. Here are some other pages that you may find helpful:

- The five pillars of Wikipedia

Thanks for reading, welcome to Wikipedia, and happy editing! eviolite (talk) 19:58, 16 November 2021 (UTC)
- Yes, you should heed WP:OVERLINKING. We don't link common words like clothing and restaurant as you did in this edit. And in this edit you changed a normal link from [[hospital]]s to [[Hospital|hospitals]], which is the same but just clutters up the code. That change should NOT have been made; it was undone later by AWB. MB 21:37, 16 November 2021 (UTC)
- Alright, okay, I understand. WikiMic talk 23:30, 17 November 2021 (UTC)
Category:Anomalous has been nominated for deletion
Category:Anomalous has been nominated for deletion. A discussion is taking place to decide whether this proposal complies with the categorization guidelines. If you would like to participate in the discussion, you are invited to add your comments at the category's entry on the categories for discussion page. Thank you. Can you give me a justification of why you feel Category:Anomalous should exist? The article isn't anomalous, and neither is the creative writing project it describes. DS (talk) 17:10, 16 November 2021 (UTC)
